Bo Dallas was treated like a damn star then. He was horribly bland and awful and turned it into gold. Especially his interactions with Sami and when he was kicked off NXT.
While Neville was also pretty good as the face of NXT.
It just happens to be Balor now. I know all the hype Joe gets but really I wouldn't put him above any of them. I mean he's been okay in NXT, but not as entertaining as the former champions.

Seth Rollins was also a former NXT champion, as was Big E, wasn't he? Not all of them get a raw deal.

I think that if Bo stayed in NXT, he'd be NXT's version of a guy who gets pushed to the title and then falls down the card. Between the signing spree of indy and international standouts and down-on-their luck main roster guys with something to prove like Kidd, Riley and Ryder, Bo would likely end up taking a downturn either way.
Bo's downfall wasn't "an evil plot by Kevin Dunn to destroy NXT" so much as it was him falling into his rightful spot on the card in relation to his abilities.

Seth Rollins was also a former NXT champion, as was Big E, wasn't he? Not all of them get a raw deal. Nxt has always been hit or miss from Wade who bacame a star immediately to Kaval who flamed out quickly. Besides I still bolieve. |

Why would I think of that? Their feud may not have been have reached those dizzying heights but Balor vs Joe was still pretty good, there's no need to compare it to the past.

Well, when has abilities truly, definitively determined "rightful spot"? Isn't "rightful spot" really a bunch of hogwash considering a handful of people, for the most part, appear to determine where people end up in the card. I know Bo's not among the people in your sig, but considering that he's third generation, his brother is at least upper midcard and has his own stable, and he did get over in his NXT people, isn't it a bit premature to say what his "rightful spot" is? |

I agree with that last sentence only because I believe the lower card in general should be booked better and not treated like total losers, but at the same time I don't see Bo as someone who should've been given the red carpet treatment upon getting called up. He was never going to be a guy who debuted as a world beater who keeps winning and winning until he runs into someone like Roman or Cena. Hell, I'd say losing his undefeated streak to R-Truth was the right call even though I generally dislike R-Truth being shoehorned into things. |
