Short. Wears a mask. Hispanic. Sounds like a 13 year old boy. Never will get pushed. Then again.....

I know this is just a NEWZ story, and there's no actual way to tell if it's true, but I find that absolutely mind blowing.

So they hired him without realising how tall he was. Great job guys.

I wish Smackdown still existed with the WCW Crusierweight title on the show. He would tear the house down against the likes of Funaki.

Most likely NEWZ but very believable given WWE's track record.

It must be noted that neither Dave nor Bryan confirmed this as anything resembling a legit news story. It was more a deal where they were talking about why WWE doesn't do more with Kalisto and Dave just off-handedly mentioned his size as a potential reason based of WWE's preferences for guys of a certain height. That's it.

He's pretty much a younger Rey Mysterio down to his voice and his in-ring skills. It would be idiotic to not put him in Rey's role given how popular Rey was. It would be stupid to not at least give him that shot and build him up with all fans in all backgrounds .
So I guess they're not going to do it.

It was just them talking about things and wondering why Kalisto wasn't being used, no actual reporting.

Then why sign the guy? The guy can work and the crowd loves him. Give him a shot.

Every time he loses, people are going to be saying that Vince hates him for being short, just like he hates Cesaro for being too Swiss, despite never actually saying that.

Takeshi Morishima had been brought in, at the time when he was the top guy in Japan and Vince took one look at him and said he was too fat.

Oh yeah, that Rey Mysterio guy was just a tower of a man.... John Cena beat the 7 foot 8 2 ton Mysterio in front of 80 million cenamaniacs at the Hampton, VA silverdome superdome brother.

"May not". Way to hedge your bets, Big Money Meltz, knowing the boards would blow up anyway...
