I thought the tea party segment with him and Sheamus was pretty great.
They were trying so hard not to break.

the power of pessimism has really taken over this place..... Santino's hilarious and always was. This is the first I've seen people hate on him here.

His comedy was best with a straight (wo)man such as Beth Phoenix and Koslov. So I say turn him heel and put him with the LON, have Sheamus, Barrett and the lads get exasperated with his antics.

Always funny until he introduced the cobra. I really found him consistently funny during his heel run and into his Santina schtick. Glamarella was gold. I wouldn't mind seeing him back as a heel manager for someone.

I really disliked Santino and never found him funny. He was the living embodiment of crap WWE comedy. "Have you tried the pepsi machine?" Hilarious Santino. And that's considered to be one of his best lines. That was hilarious.

Santino was really funny for quite a while. But then he stuck around LOOOOOOOONG past his expiration date. You can't do the same comedy shtick in 2014 that you were doing in 2009 without diminishing returns.

Go away and stay away. You had your time and you're not funny anymore. Dude was never funny, I thought. I thought he was corny WWE comedy x10000. He's had a couple funny moments over the years, but generally I agree. Mostly just crappy immature WWE 'comedy'. Then again I feel the same about R-Truth, as I said in the Raw thread, yet everyone here seems to love the guy.

Didn't he leave due to a very serious injury? I would prefer he not risk a return. If he's in a Rumble or something, that's one thing, but he has his school and a great gym, and hopefully that works out for him, because nothing he could come back to do would be worth the risk.

Ok, but why is telling Kane he's near the Pepsi machine funny. I will give Santino some credit, he could be ok with someone to play off. Glamerella were fun.

It's also the fact that of all the times Santino would go for a sarcastic answer (which wasn't really normal territory for the character), it was to god damn Kane of all people.

Santina was dreck, but did at least give us a return of the fantastic Rico theme), as was Santino and Kozlov. Emma, unfortunately, would have been better off without Santino. Other than pink sock jokes, nothing of value came of that pairing.

I love the guy. He took anything they gave him and threw 100% of himself into it. He played the goofy, yet tenacious underdog face role to perfection.

Well this thread is proof, if proof were needed, of how divisive comedy is.
Personally I always found the guy hit or miss myself.

Always had hilarious one liners back in the day mostly when he would get his words mixed up.
I remember months after he broke up with Beth and he mentioned to her in a upset way "Everytime we were intimate, I faked every organism"

He would be good in a PPV panel or GM role.

I think he was nice comedy relief for awhile, but after his last US title reign it was too hit or miss. And sadly, the Emma stuff was just awful.
