With the Punk thread and people saying he didn't need it in 2013, it got me thinking and quite for sometime, who was the best Intercontinental Champion since 2000?
Nothing honestly stands out......
Anyone else?

I'd make a case for Rey Mysterio in 2009. He was always one of the more protected guys on the roster at this point, but he had that great feud with Jericho where they traded the title back and forth and then had that great match with Morrison where he dropped the title to him.

Within the course of one year Jericho helped temporarily resurrect the Intercontinental and Tag Team Championships. 2008-2010 Jericho was a god.
