Thelma (I think) from Good Times was quite stunning.
Also, Abe Vigoda of course.

Also, Loni Anderson was all kinds of hot on WKRP. There was also Marilu Henner in Taxi, and Valerie Harper in One Day at a Time. Also agree with Barbeau.

Mary Tyler Moore was allllllright. I like her more on The Dick Van Dyke show, but she was still pretty hot once her show started!

Was Betty White on stuff? Well she wins easily.
Other than that... Yes Mary on her self-named show, but Valerie Harper and even Cloris Leachman were no slouches either. Second the love for Adrienne Barbeau. Didn't Too Close for Comfort start in 1980? Well it had that 70s feel, such that I'll nominate Lydia Cornell. I see a Britcom mention, so I'll retaliate by saying two words: MISS BRAHMS. Polly on Fawlty Towers was nice too. Leslie Easterbrook: best thing about the Burbank Laverne and Shirley episodes (yes that was the '80s by then, but...)
I'll be the one to interject other genres here just to add: Carol Merrill on Let's Make A Deal Whoever the models were on Monty Hall's Beat the Clock (what can I say, hot pants always help) Emmy Jo from New Zoo Revue Paula and Carole from Magic Garden, Paula moreso but really both had that personality that made them even more likeable. Purdey, then Sapphire (New Avengers, Sapphire and Steel respectively....both of these things are just like the other...) Lynda Carter....the power she possesses in her satin tights indeed...
And how old was Valerie Bertinelli when ODAAT started? I have this feeling saying she was hot then would be akin to the Ariel Winter worshippers today with Modern Family. She was totally cute on Hot in Cleveland though!! (I'd say something about Mackenzie Phillips, but as I am not related to her, I cannot comment on her desirability...)

Joyce DeWitt was beautiful. Oh yeah. I was recently marathoning Threes Company and was thinking she totally had it over Suzzanne Summer. Another cutie I crushed on... Cindy Williams

Doesn't say star in the title Umm, yes it does. "Most Attractive 1970's Sitcom Stars" I'd also question classifying "The Love Boat" as a sitcom. I know Wikipedia says it is, but to me it seemed more like a drama with some humorous elements.

I meant that it didn't state that they had to be the star of the show in teh title.
She was a star in her own right if not the star of the shows and the love boat was most assuredly a sitcom.
