Since when did everybody start hating Jericho to this extent? It seems pretty bizarre to me. Man it was FAST is all I know. Like overnight two decades of goodwill was just gone. That'll show him for being positive about Roman Reigns when we hated Roman. Only a real piece of shit would do something like that!

What's weird is the venom. The diminishing returns thing is valid; hell I'm not what one would say is excited bout Chris; it's more "ok that's cool." when he's around
But damn, did Fozzy have some sorta Kickin Fans Dogs tour?

His midlife crisis just irks me. I guess in about 15 years I might understand.

I used to be a Jerichoholic but then the hangovers got too heavy around 2012. Now I've been clean since 2013.

I assume he's here to challenge Shinsuke Nakamura to a match at New Year's Dash to get his 10th Intercontinental Title reign.

Its amazing at how quick that this board soured on Jericho. Its not like the guy is having up-and-coming Superstars jobbing to him left and right. He comes in, works with talent, makes them look good, and knows when to leave. I wouldn't really care to see him in a full-time capacity at this stage in his career, but I still like the guy nonetheless.

f*** off, Jericho.
Go sing like you want so badly. Stay away from wrestling where you tow the company line with one hand and swear, "That's not what I meant! I'm still cool! Subscribe to Talk Is Jericho and rate it five stars!"
Wasting space and taking a storyline or rumble spot that could be used to get someone else over. He's trash.

Thr problem was he used to be this cool guy.
But now he is just a WWE stooge. Remember last year when the WWE Network went with his podcast over Steve Austin's for interviews with John Cena and Stephanie McMahon because they were afraid that Austin will ask some tough questions.
It's weird, it's like when an alternative comedian has kids and loose their edge almost overnight.

I don't have a ton of interest in his returns anymore but i don't have any negative feelings towards him either. Enjoy his podcasts quite a bit.

So, is he now the (un)official newest member of the Local Men?

Chris Jericho is one of my all-time favorite wrestlers and even I groaned at this. He doesn't feel special anymore and comes across as a "cool, hip dad" in his latest appearances. Him going into a program (as the heel) against Dean Ambrose at Wrestlemania is admittedly intriguing, but I wouldn't be upset if that never materializes and he simply goes back to touring with Fozzy.

I guess to many people, Chris Jericho has become to wrestling what Peyton Manning has become to football.

I don't hate Jericho at all, but he's returned and left too many times for me to care. He does nothing of substance anymore. I can't get excited for his matches when I know they don't matter.
That being said, I do like Jericho a lot, so don't get my initial post twisted lol

Eh, it really is just diminishing returns for me. Every time he comes back, his "putting someone over" feels a little more half-assed. Add into the fact that real life Jericho seems more and more prickish by the interview....eh, he's turned from one of my favorite wrestlers into an instant channel-changer.

Yup, law of diminishing returns seems to be the key phrase in the topic, and I agree with that.
Also, the person who pointed out how stoogey he came off during the podcast deal doesn't exactly help.

It doesn't help that whoever he puts over then gets f***in' buried.
Go on, name 3 people who weren't. (Ambrose and Punk were the 2 who weren't)
