Sheamus is fine as a mid carder providing good matches.. Thats about where he belongs. He already received way too many unwarranted pushes over the past few years. Hes not as good as his pushes merited and it probably had something to do with being workout buddies with HHH Sheamus tends to stick out like a sore thumb when they try to put him in the midcard (remember the "mental challenges" feud with Sandow). He shouldn't be in the midcard because "midcard" Sheamus will just ends up being protected for no reason. They'd just have him hog the IC or US Title and guys who are good enough that they should at least be midcard end up getting bumped down to the lower tier by default. Real midcarders never get a chance at gold because the former world champion club constantly hovers around them as consolation prizes. Sheamus js not "The Guy" material but he's good enough to compete for the top title every so often.

Japan would love Sheamus. Add me to the "Sheamus in NJPW" list. Sheamus has it in him to be the next Brody or Hansen, he just needs other guys willing to have a good scrap with him.

When Wade is better I would like to see a Sheamus Wade run as a tag team. Imagine them as dominate Champs going into Summerslam only to lose to the Lucha Dragons. Then turn Sheamus face make him work back up to the top as either completely dominate or just a really hard to beat guy. He has a few more runs as Champion in him.
