variety.com/2016/digital/news/yahoo-shutters-video-service-yahoo-screen-exclusive-1201671374/Nice idea but the roku channel was ass ugly (and I see that Fox Now followed a similar model). I have to ask, how the hell do I watch Community on my Roku now? And why the hell isn't season 6 on DVD? This is why I still buy DVDs. When Streaming sites eventually shut down or take down their stuff. If this is the end for Community, I'd like my Community dvd filled with extras and commentaries on every episode. Though part of me is kind of amused after seeing how Smug Dan Harmon got about being online and their audience not being measured on an "outdated platform" where Community's audience would be truly revealed, and they ended up costing Yahoo $42 million dollars and killing their Online channel. I love community, but talk about a show that kept getting chances and didn't get results.

Didn't they fund that dumbass First and Ten knockoff show with Tom Arnold that I saw advertised a ton at the theater a year or so ago?

The best, absolute BEST, thing Yahoo had was a little app no one apparently knew about, and I forgot what it was called. It was like "check-in," but you checked in when you were watching TV. Each show, you basically Shazammed and it would display to everyone what you were watching. The whole concept was a social network build around TV watching. It was TV Facebook with Forums and discussions and live posts and "wall posts" and such. You could see how many "friends" watched it and what other friends were watching as long as they checked in. In my opinion, the best App ever that no one ever used.
