An Albuquerque man was caught in the act trying to carjack two women at an Albuquerque Walgreens, but what police find him doing after he's arrested may be more shocking.
According to a police report, Lafayette Stone, 37, was caught trying to carjack two women in a parking lot of an Albuquerque Walgreens Friday.
Police say Stone even dragged one of the women 20 to 25 feet alongside the car when she tried to stop him.
Two men were able to help hold Stone down until police arrived. Stone was then arrested and asked if he had any drugs on him, to which he replied "no."
One officer reported that he arrested Stone before, who had hidden drugs in his underwear and anus during that previous arrest.
Sitting outside the Walgreens, officers began to notice Stone trying to put his hands down the back of his pants. They asked Stone what he was doing.
"I’m getting the drugs out of my butt,” Stone said.
Police recovered a bag containing a white crystal substance and asked Stone if he has any other drugs in his pants.
"I might have some up my anus,” Stone replied.
Police then found another small bag containing black tar heroin.
Stone was charged with unlawful taking of a motor vehicle, aggravated battery, controlled substance violation of a schedule 1,2,3 and tampering with evidence.
This wasn't the first time Stone has been in trouble with the law. He's been convicted four times for auto theft among other crimes.
For these latest charges, Stone's bond is set at $25,000 cash or surety.
