I wonder if the people who did win used the powerplay option or was it just the numbers alone.

I wonder if the people who did win used the powerplay option or was it just the numbers alone. Some did and some didn't. It's worthless to use power play if you want the big prize. That bad boy isn't eligible to be multiplied. Everyone is better off saving the extra buck and playing more regular draws.

Nothing. I'll drop another $3 or $4 on Wednesday depending on if I want to get Powerplay or not.

My local candy shop is giving free lollipops to those who had no numbers on their ticket. Unfortunately, it is pouring rain here today Edit: I can do it tomorrow. At least I'll get something lol.

1.3B is too much money for my tastes. At that point, itd be over whelming I can't imagine only one person winning on Wednesday. For a billion dollars, idiots are going to be throwing away their life savings, cashing out their 401k's, selling their valuables and so on to buy as many tickets as humanly possible. I'll be less shocked if three or more people win than I'd be if nobody wins at all. As for me, I won $7 last night, and I'm sure I'll buy more for Wednesday.

Will play again. Knowing that I likely will never win it but it's a cool thought. It's fun to think about what would you do if you won.

My mom and I were discussing what to do, and she mentioned an old pastor of our church who used to be an IRS agent. He said the first thing you do is shut off your phone, because everybody and their cousin are going to try and get a hold of you. Lawyers, accountants, "financial planners"...don't even answer.
Honestly, I'm not playing. Just too much money and too overwhelming to even think about.

Yeah, on second thought it's really gotten to the point where it would be waaaaaaay too much of a headache to want to deal with, just in terms of how much upheaval and headache it would be.

I will happily deal with the burden of being filthy rich. I'd buy my own estate, fill it with swans and peacocks and call it Xanadu.

I'd like to think I'm level headed enough to be able to manage the money without going crazy, but who knows. I know the very first thing I'd do is pay off my Car and my Student Loans. And then my immediate family's loans.
