Steve Carrell is one of my most reliable actors since most of his films are pretty good. He's rarely in bad film or really really had films. And if the film was bad it wasn't because of him

Dan in Real Life is my favorite one. He plays so well with all the cast in it, especially the girls playing his daughters. This is my answer as well, and when I discovered dude is an amazing actor.

And if the film was bad it wasn't because of him I thought The Incredible Burt Wonderstone was pretty shit. He tried his best, but it's hard to imagine anyone making that role work.

Steve Carrell is a heck of an actor. He is more than likely going to get his second straight Oscar nomination next week. Out of all the movies he's done, my favorite is still The 40 Year Old Virgin. That movie was just a perfect storm of great comedy, excellent cast chemistry, and a star making movie.

I just found the movie pretty average. Like it's the definition of average
