Am I the only one that thought the segment was fine?
Nope, it was fine. People are really still angry at Jericho just because he defended Bill DeMott (nevermind him detracting it), and more than that I suspect because of a disagreement between him and Punk over how he handled his podcast.
If you're a big animation fan, come hang out here:
The hate boner for Jericho supersedes common sense. Everything he touches now apparently sucks according to some idiots
I don't know how anyone can think "Back of the Bus Brothers" was good...
Shut up dumbass. My little pony jabronies and Motörhead and Bowie references were. People act like the New Day are the greatest thing ever and they sucked during that segment and their whole act was paved by the type of shenanigans Jericho pulled in WCW
Jericho's kind of notorious for having to find his groove again when he comes back. First two weeks haven't been great, but I'm not wanting him to go away or anything. I'll gladly watch the guy have a match, and hopefully he figures out a good creative direction for himself.
The only logical conclusion to this angle is The New Day to defend their tag team titles against a reunited Thrillseekers. Lance turns on Chris and joins the New Day as "The Quiet Storm".
There's already a Quiet Storm in the business. Worked for TNA for a short while, does mostly Japan last I heard.
Crowd was fine and into the Jericho stuff. Yes the stuff is lame but the crowd was somewhat into it. It's not going to be 2000 like crowds for Jericho in 2016 that is over and done with.
