Adam West is the best Batman ever and I will defend that until the day I die.

Adam West is the best Batman ever and I will defend that until the day I die. He is probably the closest to the comic book version a live action Batman has ever come. (Granted he was closest the Silver Age silliness but that was what was going on in the comics at the time) The show is also the source for Barbara Gordon since the TV execs wanted a female character and went to DC who came up with her... though her Comic Book appearance predated her episodes air date she wouldn't have existed at all without the series.

Batman seems to approve of it as well.

I think an underrated aspect of the Batman TV series was how gloriously over the top the narration was.

I was watching an ep with some friends Saturday night and wondered why in a city as huge as gotham something like a malfunctioning vending machine would end up on the commissioners desk.

Batman seems to approve of it as well. Fun story: when she auditioned for the role, she decided she HAD to get attention ASAP, so when she was called in to read she crawled in on all fours, curled up in a chair, and stared licking herself.

Damn when will we see a gritty King Tutt, Bookworm and Egghead in the Arkham games!? A level where you defeat Tutt by throwing a flower pot at his head.

I think there is some kind of ownership problem with King Tut becuase the closest thing we got in the comics was a guy called "The Pharaoh" Also Bookworm did have a cameo in Brave and the Bold

Eartha Kitt is still the best Catwoman of all time. We are going to have to agree to disagree on that

No love for Lee Meriwether as Catwoman? I know that she had only played the character in the movie, but she was still a fox.
