I honestly think Alexa Bliss is the best one there. Great mic skills, in ring skills, and hot af. Can play a heel and a face (something most women lack).

I'd like to see Asuka win it.
But if it's Carmellas time then I wouldn't mind that either, She was very good against Nia Jax on the UK tour and the crowd were behind her. NXT will do amazing job with the video packages about Bayley V Carmella, bringing up their real life friendship which I've no doubt a great story will be crafted from.

Alexa deserves it the most, but she probably won't get a run anytime soon.
Honestly though, and I know people hate hearing this, but super-Diva Eva Marie cheating and tripping her way through a title reign Honky Tonk Man style is just money waiting to happen.

Hopefully she drops the title to Asuka. I would have her lose the title to Asuka on Takover: Dallas, and then Bayley debuts on the Raw after Mania.

Honestly though, and I know people hate hearing this, but super-Diva Eva Marie cheating and tripping her way through a title reign Honky Tonk Man style is just money waiting to happen. For that same reason, though- assuming Bayley will be on the main roster by the night after Wrestlemania, the battle royal last night made it clear that Eva Marie would be bypassed. A Honky Tonk Man reign by Eva Marie would be money on paper- but it's clear Bayley's doing a run to solidify Carmella, Alexa, Nia, and Eva Marie beforehand, so they can in turn solidify the next era. The booking of the battle royal made it clear in the pecking order that Billie Kay/Peyton Royce are next on the totem pole to be solidified, and they're going to be heels. Therefore, if "who can solidify them" is there, Carmella or Asuka should be the next champion solely because they'd match up well enough to make those two. |
