That happens a lot in Japan. I really don't think it happens as much as some say it does. At least not to this extent. They're barely presented as a group as it is. They have almost no merch sold, no unit theme, and no real fleshed out reason to allign with one another. It's just a bunch of dudes who tag with one another in forgettable six man tag matches then go off to do more important things on their own. Well CHAOS formed on the remains of Great Bash Heel. You know, the group that is composed by just Togi Makabe and Tomoaki Honma for the same time CHAOS is a thing? Yeah, they were around before.

CHAOS is barely even a unit to me anymore outside of the tag matches. They're more like some dudes who like to hang together than a legit stable.

But even considering that, at least they've been acting like they're a combined unit more often than not recently.

The thing is that for quite a few years... they didn't. Heck, even during Makabe's title run Honma wasn't a regular tag partner. It's like J&G forget about their group until it's time to put people together for the Tag League.

Sure, but again since it's basically devoled into a tag team, it's not out of the question for the partners to go off and do singles work for a bit. Especially considering one guy won the top belt, and the other was fired for scalping tickets for a time. Chaos has had around 8 or so guys since it's creation. It's not too much to ask that they book at least some of the group like an actual stable. They do it with the Bullet Club and Los Ingobernables.

Haha, I haven't seen that for a while. It looks so cool though, ignoring the context. I wish we could take cool designs away from bad people

From my time living in Japan, Nazi imagery is common in Japan. They aren't believers of that movement but tend to romanticize the looks and symbology. Like why you got those pictures of Asuka dressed as a Zombie Nazi and Jun Kasai's shorts embroidered with swastikas. Still unnerving.

WTF? What's the story on this? They just decided to cover their Dominion poster in Nazi symbolism back in 09. It's so weird. It seems pretty common over there though.

Well, to a degree I guess. I've heard that's actually common in a lot of countries in Asia. I remember reading an article a while back about a Hitler Café that opened up somewhere. It seems to come down to "Well, he/they never did anything to US and the stuff looks cool." Pretty messed up, but yeah... Still, with NJPW being a part of a fairly big company with interests outside of just Japan you'd think they'd know better. At least with Hitler Café it's a tiny little company that probably just wants to capitalize on the WTFness of it and attract customers who like the novelty of it. It doesn't make it right, but you can see the logic in it. But when it comes to international companies doing this it's even more mind boggling.

In japan they still had some respect and fondness from the nazis since they were allies on the war, that's why guys like brocken man and jr which used full nazi imagery were somehow considered faces on kinnikuman.
Is still weird as f*** to use in a wrestling event, but heh
