My wife and I recently came across an article about this debate. Essentially, while the children's books have always been spelled BerenstAin Bears, a rather large number of adults who read the books as children will swear they remember the books being called the BerenstEin Bears.
Personally, both my wife and I remember it being Berenstein.
So FAN, what do you remember?

Theres a ridiculous conspiracy about this that can only have been created by 4chan or something. Its worth looking up if you wanna laugh or lose your mind.
Basically it was Bernstein and someone matrixed the minds if everyone and turned it into Ain. And they have made other changes too.

I am friends with the youngest son, Leo. I told him about the spelling controversy the other night at the bar. He thinks its retarded, end of story.
