with the likes of Owens, Zayn, Joe and now AJ all being picked up so late in their careers? I know it has been a well discussed topic over the years of will the big 3 X Division guys ever making it to WWE, but with Joe and now seemingly AJ making it to the company I feel it is worthy of being discussed again.
The guy certainly is talented enough and has an amazing amount of experience. Even if it is just for an NXT run

For some NXT matches? He has an excellent chance of that. He's well regarded, and given he had a hand in training Cena and Joe, he's certainly someone that is known by higher ups. Given James Storm got some matches, it's not outside the realm of possibility if he was available and both sides could come to an agreement.
On the main roster? That's a lot trickier to answer. Who can say, really.

He's 46 this year (which is remarkable honestly) so I can't see him sticking around long but there is a definite possibly that he could have a few matches.

I can see him becoming a trainer. Dude is a fantastic wrestler, legit charismatic, keeps himself in good shape and would have a good 20-25 years experience that he can teach people.

I would kill to see an NXT Match between The Fallen Angel and The Demon... vs Balor vs Crews vs Itami Rematches with Zayn and Joe. All would be great matches

I hate that I feel they think this way, but I can't see them even glancing his way at the age of almost 46. I do hope I'm wrong, and he shows up a few time in NXT, because the man has always been class in the ring, and seemingly defies age with a big middle finger, and bravo to him for that. If they do ever bring him in, even short term, I hope Kazarian comes around too.

At his age, with no WWE-approved training, in their current system, I don't see it. Maybe as a manager (which I think he would kick ass at and would love to see him do) but not as a full time in-ring talent.

Could easily see him becoming an acting coach in developmental, god knows they could use him.

I could see him and Kazarian being picked up to give the NXT tours more star power. Ever actually making the main roster, very unlikely.

I thought we weren't supposed to like seeing more old guys.
That said, I'd mark for a Curry Man appearance.

I had no idea he was that old. Thinking of him as a 30 year old conquistador and that he debuted near the end of original Hulkamania era is mind blowing.

He's 46?! When the hell he debut? 1993. Jesus, he's wrestled longer than 95% of the WWE roster.

Main roster....sadly no due to age.
However I could see him wrestle a few times in NXT and becoming a trainer.

There are no downsides at all to having him on the payroll and running with the NXT guys, he could really help them all develop.

By the time they pick him up, he would probably work well as the second coming of Finlay, someone who can come in and work as an old bastard without the baggage of a long WWE TV history.
