I thought we weren't supposed to like seeing more old guys.
That said, I'd mark for a Curry Man appearance. I think it's already been determined that Daniels is immune to the concept of aging, so he's fine.

Finlay showed, very well, that "fresh" matters more than "young."

Have him on a Kendrick deal where he wrestles once in a blue moon and trains people. He deserves a retirement after probably the best midcard career in the Indy era.
I'd like to see him actually win his big one in ROH first though

Im a big Christopher Daniels fan but at this point I doubt it. He's so old if they did bring him in I could see it being a managerial role. I would actually like him as The Ascension's manager. #NewProphecy

A couple one-off matches in NXT, mainly for the pop he'd get upon entrance.
The dude is so, legitimately, happy for all the guys he has worked with who have made it to the big time... he definitely deserves his payday and with him being an elder statesmen of the group that's rising to prominence now, I see him being an amazing trainer and just a great dude to have in the locker room.

At least unlike the last middle aged dude they signed they wouldn't have to worry about a receding hairline.

At his age, with no WWE-approved training, in their current system, I don't see it. Maybe as a manager (which I think he would kick ass at and would love to see him do) but not as a full time in-ring talent. That didn't stop Jushin Liger from have a nxt match and he 51 year old.

Yeah, but Liger is a legend. Daniels is not a legend.

Also a possibility, but Liger is a much much bigger star than Daniels, I just don't see him being pushed as a one time special attraction match (or even a limited program honestly)

By the time they pick him up, he would probably work well as the second coming of Finlay, someone who can come in and work as an old bastard without the baggage of a long WWE TV history. I really want to see that. With the way the hiring philosophy has changed, the time has never been better for Daniels to have a WWE run. The age thing is the only issue, and he defies all the pitfalls of aging in the wrestling business. I don't know much about his injury history but I can't recall anything serious and he obviously still moves well.

Bring him in as a coach for NXT. He can take Dusty's position in the promo class. Then use him as a manager to get young talent over.

He's not in Liger's status but I'm safely betting that if Triple H were to announce tomorrow that The Fallen Angel is scheduled to make a special appearance and face off against Chad Gable or someone at the next Takeover, people would definitely be very excited

I definitely see him as a high-ranking trainer there. I wouldn't doubt he'd do 1 or 2 NXT matches as well, but I can't see anything more than that

I could watch him do his Bad Influence strut for a entire episode of NXT.

At his age, with no WWE-approved training. He had a developmental deal with wwe in the late 90s and trained at the Dory Funk Dojo. He used to work on Sunday night heat and Shotgun Saturday Night and I think he was one of the conquistadors.

He could easily get a job training and having the occasional match on NXT but a full time run on the main roster does not seem likely.

Maybe a run on NXT or a rumble spot. But I'd say there should definitely be a training job waiting for him when he retires should he want it.

It's too bad NXT as it is now wasn't around 10 years ago. Virtually all of these "what ifs" would have happened by now.
