So let's face it, Roman Reigns is going to be the Marathon Man tonight.
However, will he pass 1 Hour 2 Minutes and 12 Seconds?, the record that currently belongs to Rey Mysterio when he won it in 2006.
That record has been around for 10 years now, and considering Reigns beat Kane's elimination record 2 years ago, It wouldn't surprise me if they gave him this to.
I know some of you have been begging for this record to be beaten for years now, however would you be satisfied with it being Roman?
I'm indifferent either way but I guess we shall have to wait and see.

I'm inclined to think he'll be there at the end but for maximum drama 30 won't be in there all that long to make him really look like he's been screwed over. If they go with 90 second intervals, it'd only take 42 minutes for #30 to come out, so no, I don't expect him to be in there an hour.
I do expect him to break the elimination record though.

I honestly expect him to break all records besides fastest elimination

Yes. He also needs to throw out every other superstar one by one as soon as they enter the ring and use the Styles Clash on number 30 before throwing him out, and celebrate with YES chants. How does he break the record for the longest in the rumble if he throws everyone out as soon as they go in?

It wouldn't surprise me if they did just so they can give him everything. The Rumble has basically become the Roman Reigns match the last three years anyways with him eliminating the most two years ago, winning last year, and now defending the championship in it this year. Since he's number one and is either going to win or finish runner up, he has a solid chance as he's basically going to last however long the match lasts. Usually the match lasts 50 to 55 minutes however Mysterio and Benoit before him were able to have ring times over an hour because the match dragged out a longer time those years even after all the numbers were called. That allowed them to pass previous iron men like Flair and Backlund despite those two having two minute intervals in their Rumbles as opposed to Mysterio and Benoit's minute and a half.

I just hope Lesnar breaks Reigns elimination record.

I think he has to come close, for sure. We know he's #1 and feasibly lasting until the end. I'm still angry about him breaking Kane's "eliminations in a single match" record but longest Rumble appearance I would be fine with.

Him and HHH will brawl all across the building as #1 and #2 as a homage to Austin and McMahon doing the same in 1999.
Roman WILL NOT be in the ring for an hour. His body can't handle that.

Roman WILL NOT be in the ring for an hour. His body can't handle that. Going off of what exactly? 2015 Rumble. He was sitting in the corner and the crowd shit on him for that. That was about what, 15-30 mins in the match for him? Can he handle 60+?

I swear I heard Michael Cole say that there would be 60-second intervals. Of course I could have been hearing things, because no one else seems to have heard this. If so, Roman would not break Rey's record.

I just hope Lesnar breaks Reigns elimination record. I can't see it. Largely because I can't see Lesnar coming in until very late, like mid-20s at earliest.

I could see him beating his time, but I think Lesnar or HHH will win the Rumble.

You forgot the spot where he almost gets eliminated, but cartwheels his feet to the barricade, climbs on top and Superman Punches his way back to the apron, hitting someone by the ropes so hard, they stumble across the ring and fall out.

Have I mentioned that I hate Roman Reigns? Reading this thread with the likely possibility he gets these accolades as the Rumble golden boy makes my blood boil. I hope he's booed out of the building once again, D:<

If so, Roman would not break Rey's record. They're so irregular when it comes to intervals between entries in the Rumble match that I don't trust Michael Cole a damn bit for this one. I still think it's gonna be 90 seconds between each.
