Kinda reminds me of Evan "not being used at all" Bourne posting pics of how jacked he was getting during all of his time off while Neville was starting to kill it down in NXT.
"Hey, guys.. I'm jacked and can do flippy shit, too! Guys? Guys?!"

They're two different wrestlers though. Don't ruin my flimsy thread premise with the first post. Rusev: "You're the one, Lan UH, who's going to be embarrassed!"

I also thought about the Neville comparison because in his match with Jericho, he climbed the top rope, for one second I thought that he was gonna do his old finisher, the spinal tap, which is Neville's finisher also.
I think that AJ is gonna benefit Neville, I miss the days of the WCW cruiserweight matches.

They're similar but not the same. The Spiral Tap is a corkscrew senton bomb where as the Red Arrow is a corkscrew shooting star press.

It does make me curious though. People in the back WERE butt hurt over The Rock being back for his short return. So it wouldn't be surprising to hear about some in the back being upset about AJ leapfrogging them in the pecking order. I don't necessarily disagree entirely, but AJ jumped over them to have weekly matches on RAW, SmackDown, house shows, and PPV. He's not just popping in to main event one PPV then disappear. He's going to work the grind. As for jumping over people, it is what it is, and it happens in every job. He's got 18 years of experience, he's great at his job, and people want to pay money to watch him and buy his merch. It's bad business to do anything other than give him a top spot.

Hes probably saying, "come join the club". Because its only a matter of time before AJ is just used as enhancement talent in Neville's spot (with an occasional win here and there) to put the hosses o Mcmahon's favorites and creations over.
Its even worse for AJ. He got over and became a big name WITHOUT the Mcmahon's. Neville was at least created in NXT

Neville was being used as an enhancement guy long before AJ signed. Remember Survivor Series where he was the only guy eliminated from his team? His ceiling was firmly set in place before Styles got there.

They may or may not be buds on some level from traveling in similar circles, but on a professional and competitive level I wonder if Neville dares to be sour. Neville should clap for our soon to be WWE World Champion and feel the powah.

My guess for legit non kayfabe heights for some of these dudes (barefoot): AJ Styles: Between 5'6 and 5'7 Neville: 5'7 Austin Aries: 5'6" Finn Balor: 5'9 to 5'10 Daniel Bryan: 5'7 to 5'8 Here's a good gauge of how tall a lot of these dudes are:
