Didn't Braun Strowman have like one NXT match and then went right from the Performance Center to Raw? The Stro Man didn't have any televised NXT matches. I don't know about house shows though.

I always think it says a lot that Sin Cara didn't go to developmental & was the drizzling shits, whereas D-Bry insisted on going to FCW for a while and ended up being one of the greatest stars they've had a in a while. I think there was a bit more to it than that. You also have to factor in the fact that there was no language barrier with Bryan as well Bryan's experience wrestling in the indys which is a lot similar to the WWE style than Lucha wrestling is.

If you're going to count people like Christian and Tensai/Albert who were previously in WWE, then the Dudleyz also fit the bill.

Didn't Del Rio come straight in? I thought that's where the "big deal fairly quick" thing came from? The big deal fairly quick thing came in about 2-3 weeks into his debut on the main roster. Basically in his WWE profile biography, there's was a sentence that was forgotten to be deleted said something like "Okay what else do I have to continue writing about his profile, I know he's going to be a big deal fairly quick and I need some feedback asap."

Sin Cara, Kharma, and Tensai were the last people before AJ who went straight to the main roster. Sin Cara had in his contract about not having to do a developmental stint. Bad decision. I am sure AJ got the same clause but he got tv experience so they don't worry about him knowing how to perform on camera and in a WWE ring. The more I hear about this guy, Sin Cara, the more I shake my head. How big was his ego? Was he THAT GOOD? Talk about one of the most overrated superstars in WWE history. He was actually the highest drawing wrestler in the world outside of the WWE at the time of his signing.
