To a point that Moon made in the last thread: I don't think "barely" anyone used custom music in entrances. One of the issues was that they never really got soundtracks to work well on 360 or PS3, with the music usually having to be altered in post before it worked as entrance music. I added a lot of tunes to my copies of 13 and 14, but it was a giant pain in the ass and time consuming to run them through things like Audacity, put filters on them, cut them down to how it was needed, then import each song via a flash drive, THEN make each song it's own playlist since that was how Microsoft decided to do it. And to the bigger point, almost everyone has settled on just streaming music, making peoples' collections as a whole obsolete. But that doesn't mean that either Sony or Microsoft should give up on the idea. Being able to work with Spotify or their own services to pump in one's own music is hardly an idea that doesn't have supporters(streaming music into games is always mentioned by people when new updates are mentioned), and is something that both companies have said they're working on. If 2K (and more importantly WWE, who have almost all of their library of entrance themes on Spotify) were smart, they would be at the forefront of trying to get this to work, and could push the issue with both companies.

It was a good feature, but used in too few games, by too few players. If a small percentage are using a feature, it makes no sense to keep the feature. |

I used custom soundtracks in GTA for ps3 and some other games too. First time I ever used it was on the original xbox for the raw game I think. I still remember you had to have a special type of cd player that came with the xbox to read burn cd's or it wouldn't work.
I just don't see how hard, programming wise, it would be to implement a custom soundtrack feature. Hell, if the only option for custom soundtracks was through Playstations own streaming service or spotify and the wwe had all of their music uploaded there, I would be willing to pay a small fee. I know of some people that skip the entrances all together but I like them.

I just don't see how hard, programming wise, it would be to implement a custom soundtrack feature. Its pretty hard and would require manhours to cook up and then put into the console's structure and then more time to make sure it works perfectly. Then there's the game makers side that would have to put hooks in their game to use the feature. Its not worth the time and money. |

I finally went through and reset my Universe mode. I was trying to carry on a universe where WWE, ROH, and NJPW had come to an agreement to trade talent, etc but I think I was stretching it a bit too thin. Now I'm taking my time and setting everything up, going with a ROH/NJPW merger to combine those rosters.
Also, does MyCareer get a little less repetitive after you get called up?
My matches seem to be the same week after week, and it's getting extremely boring.

Speaking of Mycareer...just had a match with Sami on superstars. Wound up with 4 stars, pretty damn good back and forth match. Problem is, I went for a pin near the ropes and he grabbed the rope at 2 but I still won.
Oh well, a win's a win I guess. #heel

I like that touch. I was watching a CPU vs. CPU Sami Zayn vs. Samoa Joe match last night and Sami went for a pin while Joe tried to do a rope break. The ref missed Joe holding the ropes and counted the pin anyway.

Just finished a rumble with 30 CAWS and no issues. Loading time was not bad at all. Slight glitch with Nakamuras attire but it went away. AJ styles won. So, this means AJ is winning next years rumble.
Would it be possible for them to patch in
1. Have royal rumble be for a title?
2. In exhibition be able to have a royal rumble in another arena. Would be nice to have an nxt rumble takeover. On that same note, what about elimination chamber?
Is the only way currently to have a rumble in another arena in universe mode? How is that done?
Pretty impressed with the CAWS. I went on a signing spree today and raided new japans, pwg, roh, chikara and some uk stars. About 35 in total. Now I just have to go and fix them up a bit as for example Ophidian was a giant compared to joe and aires. Omega looked like a superstar.

They appear to have fixed a glitch in CAW mode where editing the body morphing would cause the CAW's arms to get stuck like this;   It's pretty minor but I'm glad that they did. That is, if they have. I might have just got lucky the past couple of times. |
