I'm watching Sisters and dude stole the show just like how he stole the show in Trainwreck. Yeah I also selfishly want him to leave the WWE but I mostly want to see Cena in more comedy movies.

I agree. I'm tired of him on WWE, but I also legitimately think he's funny and talented in other stuff. Might not become as big as the Rock, but pretty damn close.

I'm at the point now where I'd miss Cena. Call it sentimentality or whatever, but the day we don't hear Brabadoooo will be a sad one.

Should have happened years ago, he's been the WWE's booking team's crutch for far too long. People will miss him as an in-ring talent, but they won't ever miss how he was booked for all those years.

He will probably leave after WM33, after he passes the torch to Roman Reigns.

Cena was also great during his guest stints on the Today Show. He might never be as big as The Rock but he possesses a certain soft power that The Rock lacks and I feel as though he definitely found his niche.

I don't hope for it... but I do think he can have some success in Hollywood if chose that as a full time career.

He'll eventually leave. Or at most dramatically cut down on his ring time. Which will cause people to miss him and want him back. And the moment he returns, it is joyful before quickly asking when is he going get off your tv aka the Rock effect.

He definitely should do more comedies. He was truly the best part in Trainwreck, Sisters, and for those who haven't seen it his cameo at the end of {Spoiler}Daddy's Home was perfect too.

Rock and Batista were at least in breakout roles as major supporting characters in big franchise, big budget movies, Cena has just played a douchey bodybuider guy in a couple of comedies.
Also, considering John Cena has become this comedic meme as of late, combined with the general hate he gets from wrestling fans, some quit wresting due to him, I don't know if anybody can take him seriously or pay to see him in a big role.

Its not hard to steal the show against Amy schumer and tina fay It's fitting you are a Curtis Axel fan as you clearly know nothing about talented performers.

It'd be so funny if he became the thing he railed against.

I actually didn't mind how he was booked as U.S. Champ, but he definitely needs to cut down on his schedule. With his injuries as of late, he just needs to become a part timer, which would allow him to do more movies and stay healthy.

Comedians starting to tap Cena for more roles in movies gives him a similar movie history to Hulk Hogan. Rock veered into the action hero track ala Bruce Willis, and Batista is on somewhat of a Vin Diesel path.

Cena is a guy unlike The Rock will stay in WWE because WWE will give him whatever he wants. He's the perfect employee in Vince's eyes.
