Had the Marine or any of those been a springboard, he'd have already been gone. I don't see him being the Rock or anything, but I do think he could transition to some roles if he made that his full time deal.
For some reason, I actually see him working on like a sitcom type deal rather than being a huge movie star; or continue with what's working for him in small roles.

I mean, he's gotta. At some point.He's kinda getting up there with age and injuries but, dang, I could see him possibly goin at least ten more years. Especially w/a lighter schedule.
Cena has nothing to lose without the E'. Thr contrary is quite different.

I think he could be the closest anyone has come to replicating Rock's success, mostly for the same reasons - his look, his charisma and his genuine likeability.
