I remember seeing him in an interview around ten years ago, around the time the Rick Roll thing was really taking off and he said how he hated it and it made a mockery of his work. A normal person would have seen this for an opportunity at a comeback. He couldnt have hated it THAT much: He didn't have to actually sing it though, and he probably got paid a considerable amount of money.

"I walked away to consentrate on the family"....yeah , that's what they all say when their career turns sour , where's Scorupco today ? Celebs who literary disappeared : -Jimmy Hoffa -Bond villain Milton Reid , TSWLM & small cameo as DNs guard (around '87 his son stopped getting letters from India , Reid also used to get into fights , maybe he was killed ?)

Another Mike Meyers anecdote. He was apparently supposed to make Dieter movie in the late 90s but hated the script he wrote and refused to make it costing the studio a ton of money. I believe he was forced to make Cat in the Hat as a result to fulfill his contract but yeah he seems to not be very liked by the studios.

He was on (the fan-made) Match Game/Hollywood Squares Hour: What the f***? Yeah, it frickin' sucked harder than a Hoover vacuum. One of the panelists on Match Game pretty much buried the concept on-air when they said, "What kind of challenge is this? Every answer is either boobs, butt or Roseanne Barr!" Yeah, they yanked the show a week or two later.

Jason Newsted from Metallica. He worked in a few small time bands for years after leaving Ozzy's band, then Joined a supergroup, but pulled out after a shoulder injury, but then aside from briefly making his own band, he seems to have vanished off the face of the earth.

Anthony Michael Hall. Last i saw him was playing the villain of the week on the short-lived "No Ordinary Family". I know he was considered a punchline because of the 1985-86 season of SNL, but you'd think he could still get some decent acting gigs (that season didnt seem to hurt the careers of the other actors from that season, all of whom had steady work post-SNL). He had a semi-prominent role as a reporter in The Dark Knight, but yeah, that's the first and last I remember hearing about him for a while. Why is it everyone seems to forget that he had a little 6 season gig where he was the lead on a tiny little show that was for a spell the highest rated show on cable (The Dead Zone)?

I saw a couple of them, didn't laugh one freaking time, so whenever it was a "Sprockets" skit it was time for me to change the channel.

Don't think I've seen this name yet in this thread, but where in the heck did Alicia Silverstone go? She was in a whole lot of stuff in the 90's and then she all but vanished in the early 2000's.

She's gone motherhood-induced insane. I'm talking Jenny McCarthy and Mayim Bialik level craziness. Last I heard she was busy feeding her kids... bird style.

Jason Newsted is still very active in the music scene. he mostly does small projects here and there, nothing as big as say Metallica but the royalties he gets from the albums he played on means he can basically just do what he wants and never needs to work again.

I always thought she was so hot, one of the first crushes I had as a kid in the 90's.

Every girl I knew loved Josh Hartnett and then it seemed like his career ran out of steam.

Newsted must get insane royalty checks from The Black Album alone.
