Met a girl last week but can't get her on the phone

I'm thinking of nexting although she is a stunner.

She approached me in front of her guy friends and told them to leave her alone while she talks to me, I spoke to her for just over 5 minutes and couldn't spend much time as I was working. She approached me just before she left and asked me if I wanted to take her number. I asked her what her background was when taking her number and smiled but I didn't say to much as I didn't want people at working watching. I text her the number day on Saturday and she told me it was nice to meet me.

I waited till Monday to call her and she told me when she picked up the phone she was working so I had to text. I negged her in text as she is a short girl and looks young and told her buy the time she I finish work she will be waking up eating weetos. She laughed and text back. I waited till Wednesday to try and call her and she text me back saying she was working all might. I have weak text game so just told her I would call her tommorow before work. I called Thursday and no answer or callback. I would prefer to at least get to know her more on the phone before texting her but now I'm thinking I should maybe text her once more and see what happens but I don't know what to say.

Text her a message saying you want to meet up for a drink, coffee, dinner etc (have a definitive plan like name of a bar, coffee shop with the idea of somewhere to go after if it's going well) include saying when you are free.

Then it's in her hands to say yes. You will get to know her quickly enough meeting face to face than on the phone.

Ignore the game nonsense and just arrange to meet

I would rather get to know someone over text than phone, especially someone I hardly knew. With text there's no pressure or awkward silencea. Texting is the new way of phone calling. My GF and I talked on the phone a few times before we met (I did Match.com), more than any other girl I met.

As for me, I always ask women out respectfully face-to-face. The way I see it, I treat her like a woman by asking her out like a man. (That's just my view on it.) Even if she's not into you and turns you down, as long you're polite and respectful about it, she'll feel flattered that you asked her out.

And to the OP, when you go out, bro, just be yourself. Like that old Shakespeare quote (paraphrasing). "It is above all things that to thine own self be true". Two things I've learned about women: they want a guy who's honest and they want a guy who's secure with himself. They don't want to be with a liar (they want someone who's real) and they don't want you to be excessive (people need their space). They like it when you call them and say "I love you.". They don't like it when you do it thirty times a day. Well, I guess the insecure ones do, but you don't want anything to do with them anyway. If this doesn't work out, don't get bummed out. You'll meet someone eventually if you keep putting yourself out there.

Yeah, that shit is pretty low. If she knows what that is she probably has all the info she needed to block him after that.

I'm 6'5 295lbs and adore baby masks. Think we are a match.

On a serious note, I basically haven't text her since Wednesday when I told her I would try to call her next day. Maybe I will text her tommorow, since we don't know eachother and that it's been over a week and I haven't even had a phone conversation with her I feel like I don't know what to say.

Some people just hate speaking on the phone. I have GAD (Generalised Anxiety Disorder) and I absolutely HATE speaking on the phone to people I don't know EXTREMELY well. I only call people when I absolutely have to. If it's not my Mum or Dad chances are I won't answer the phone, and yes my sisters get sent to voicemail also.
When I do date it usually takes 2/3 actual dates where I feel comfortable enough to speak on the phone with them.

People are weird, me more than most, and a surprising amount of people have this anxiety about phones.


As for that 'negging' thing, is it like how in England guys are just absolute cocks and say "Oh i'm only having a bit of banter mate!"? I had an ex who constantly put me down with backhanded compliments, it's not fun and it doesn't make anyone want you more. Most people actually just want a nice guy or girl. Dating really isn't that difficult.
