I really liked Norm as the Colonel, he saved the program from those rather uncomfortable Darrel Hammond months... But Gaffigan's not a lousy choice, I guess.

It needs to be John Goodman next. I remember him playing Col Sanders in a skit for Funny or Die during that Chik-fil-a riff raff, was pretty funny in that.

As much as Gaffigan talks about food in his act, KFC is probably paying him in free fried chicken. Was expecting Colonel Colin Quinn. He just mumbles through the commercial and doesn't even attempt to hide his accent. "Yeah, eat this chicken... It's uh, good. Herbs and umm, spices and all that!" |

Man, I was really starting to like Norm's version too. The first Gaffigan one is not good but I didn't think Norm's first few were either, he grew into it though so maybe Gaffigan will.
