That's GOTTA be where it's headed, right? Like, Terry Crews or a comedian like Deon Cole or Hannibal Buress? That or some kind of Crisis of infinite Colonels... Well, DC did do a short promotional comic featuring Colonel Sanders fighting an evil Colonel Sanders from Earth-2 just last year, after all.

Man, I was really starting to like Norm's version too. The first Gaffigan one is not good but I didn't think Norm's first few were either, he grew into it though so maybe Gaffigan will. Norm's first commercial was pure genius for a very simple moment about 5 seconds in: he introduces himself as Colonel Sanders, and then does a quick shrug, as if to say "Eh, just go with it people." Brilliant, and a total Norm thing for him to do. And it set the entirety of his run, playing with the idea that he wasn't Colonel Sanders (and I think eventually morphed into him not knowing if he was Colonel Sanders), into motion. And judging by the end of Gaffigan's 1st commercial, I wouldn't actually be shocked if we kept seeing Norm somehow and this identity crisis thing becomes even more a running gag affecting the new Colonel.
