^they also train their guys so shittily that they wouldn't even be good enough to wrestle in other promotions (at least any of the good ones) even if they wanted to.

Juice Robinson (CJ Parker) says hello from NJPW. I don't consider Juice Robinson a homegrown guy. He was trained by Truth Martini. I seen Juice's work from when he wrestling in AIW and can say he was no bueno. He became a much more complete wrestler in NXT. No matter who trained him first, he's a product of NXT.

I'd have put it on him ages ago. With Breeze gone he's pretty easily my favorite guy in NXT and the one I'm most invested in. Unless they do the Balor heel turn on Itami, I'd say he is pretty much the obvious choice for it some time this year,

Why would I do that? This isn't about him. This is bigger than him. That post I made was addressing someone else's opinion that Developmental needs a full revamp if a guy like Corbin is the best they can produce and yet another poster stated that Corbin looked out of place next to Joe and Sami, and a lot of that can be attributed to the way these guys are brought up.

I kinda think he should be the one that takes it from Balor, after he survives whoever (haven't read spoilers) at the next Takeover.

Considering the post-Mania NXT exodus that seems to be coming, Corbin seems to be the natural option to be Balor's next program (unless they go face vs. face or turn someone else like Joe). If Corbin won the title during that program, I think he'd be a great heel against the plethora of faces NXT has (Balor, Crews, new top faces in Nakamura & Aries...and perhaps a returning Itami).

Corbin as the indie killer should be their next champion. NXT is a super indie. He is a home grown hoss who gives no f***s who you are. He is the perfect heel to beat Balor.

Around Wrestlemania season, so relatively soon. His match against Apollo was a bit of a stinker, but I can't think of a non-squash match he's wrestled lately that's been bad. I thought his match versus Rich Swann was an excellent cat and mouse story.
