Ignore the tabloid headline and this list actually gives some good points, about Lana's standing in the WWE, the need of valets in todays WWE and Rusev's actual need of her nowadays. It's not superbly written, but I thought it was worth a share. Take a look. whatculture.com/wwe/10-reasons-wwe-will-fire-lana-on-her-wedding-day.phpI didn't notice she had been ignored by the commentary team..is that happening?

I just picture every time something like this comes out, a zero is added to her paycheck or something.

I was more just kidding, due to how hilarious it still is to me when I think it was Alvarez or something that said they didn't figure we'd ever see her again, and she was on that same week, and just other things like that. Doesn't mean she's not in the dog house definitively, but it doesn't help.

Its a massive shame, so much potential as a character. It was a difficult one to pull back from after turning her face, Rusev tweaked his character so by the time she was put back with him the dynamic was not the same. Shes just there..

I'd say more likely, since idiotic depush or not they seem to see Rusev as an asset, they'll keep her around and basically just minimize her role as much as possible in the hope she leaves on her own and they don't have to worry about Rusev potentially quitting over her.

They could have easily just not brought her back if they were planning on making her irrelevant and firing her.

She's being punished for the TMZ leak, but she'll be back.
Once RURU goes face, he needs her by his side.

I can buy that for one reason or another Vince isn't as high on Lana as he once was, but I also buy the narrative that he's an indecisive, very chaotic man who goes all in on ideas only to lose interest in them at one point down the line. If you're not his current "new top guy for a decade" prospect, at some point he's going to get tired and moving on to something newer and shinier. Her irrelevance comes down to the writing of the show being terrible at keeping anybody relevant when they're not on a massive push. Right now, Rusev isn't doing much of anything, for as great a talent as he is, because he's not receiving a push at the moment. If tomorrow, Vince decides he wants to push Rusev again, Lana will be right out there with him, hair tied up, screaming about Russia once more. It's a cyclical thing, and I do hope things come back around and Rusev and Lana are important again, but I don't think it's anything exceptional or beyond just another side-effect of WWE's main, happens-to-everyone problems.

I don't buy most of the nuclear heetz, probably just someone who has it in for her blabbing to the sheets and overexaggerating everything. But, if she is getting shit backstage, as someone who's actually been in a hit movie and 'real' showbusiness in general, and isn't living out a lifelong dream by being in WWE, I imagine she'd be less tolerant and more aware of the ludicrousness of 'dis business' bullshit. She's a beautiful, smart and talented woman with experience in multiple different fields, no reason to stay in a job where she's mocked and undermined for things out of her control... aside from the fact it IS her husband's dream to work there and staying there with him is the only way to avoid being apart for over half the year.
