I would think the following are the "sure things" for Round 2: 1. Tyson Dux 2. Drew Gulak 3. Brian Kendrick 4. Akira Tozawa 5. Johnny Gargano 6. Tommaso Ciampa 7. Lince Dorado 8. Rich Swann 9. Tajiri 10. Zack Sabre Jr. 11. Noam Dar 12. Kota Ibushi 13. Cedric Alexander 14. T.J. Perkins 15. Tony Nese 16. Gran Metalik The experienced guys are there to get people over.

I don't see Tajiri making it out of the first round. I think he either puts over either Ibushi or Tozawa.

Gran Metalik Jack Gallagher is going to make it to at least the second round, as he's the only full-on submission/catch wrestler in the field. (ZSJ does some of that, but not to the degree of Gallagher. It's pretty much his whole schtick.) I give Ranallo and Bryan two minutes before they start comparing him to Johnny Saint and Dean Malenko.

I wouldn't say Tyson Dux, Tony Nese, Tajiri, or Kendrix are 'sure things.' I would not at all be surprised if they did advance, but I wouldn't call them locks.

Anybody know if this is going to happen live weekly or are they recording it asap and then playing it week by week?

Anybody know if this is going to happen live weekly or are they recording it asap and then playing it week by week? I think they're doing blocks of tapings and airing them weekly like with NXT. First one is either tomorrow or the day after.

Drew Gulak's whole stable in EVOLVE is called Catch Point, he is a submission wrestler and one of the best mat technicians I have seen and uses the same finisher Dan Severn used in WWE. Drew Gulak actually reminds me of a Malenko type ie someone who can work the submissions yet if the need does flying stuff

It's so good to see Bryan looking happy and healthy, and involved in the business. I hope this hosting thing goes well. {Spoiler}{Spoiler} And that he replaces Jerry Lawler permanently.

This thread should be spoiler free, and used for when the shows air. The first tapings are tonight, so we should make a separate spoiler thread for those results.

Have the brackets been released yet or are they doing this in blocks? Like Block A has four guys and the one with the best record advances and so forth.
