I think ZSJ has more long term potential than Gallagher. Gallagher, for all his talent and having a great look, seems like someone who, just based on the way WWE tends to do things, would get stuck in the low card due to management not "getting" his character. ZSJ clearly has a high ceiling in the WWE. He has time to learn the character stuff. But I also think Gallagher could fit in well, too. He's small, but especially with his MMA cred, people might take him more seriously.

Lince Dorado sucks ass but congrats to him and Ali for getting a dead crowd to wake up.

(Sorry to double post but I'm playing catch up)
Really enjoyed the Sabre Jr/Dux match. Very different from every other match in the tournament and that finish from Sabre was brutal.

Not sure how this pertains to the thread, but I am from the Twin Cities and Ariya Daivari is amazing here. Last summer I saw him and Ciampa wrestle in a ring set up downtown, outdoors,in an abandoned lot. A month ago I was at a show at First Ave (Purple Rain), and Scott Hall interfered in his match. Guy is talented and a money heel. Seen him dozens of time. Shame he was gone first round

They really need to bring in Regal as Tajiri's manager when he returns to Raw:

Cedric Alexander's theme is indeed the bees knees. High praise, I know. It needed to be said.

Just got caught up on this - as in, watched the whole thing, since I hadn't seen any of it - and my takeaways at the moment... One, no matter who wins, I think Kendrick should be the runner-up (that or have him cheat to win it as a basis for a feud between him and the guy he beats, but think Kendrick losing has more upside), and two, for as much as his involvement was hyped up and as much as he's one of the favored people for it, based on what he's done so far ZSJ's one of the least interesting guys there.

You know you're doing something wrong when your fans have to defend you with "But he's SUPPOSED to be boring!".

I like it, looks very solid and professional. Hopefully winning it always grants them the title on Raw.

I haven't commented on this tournament enough. It's incredible. Ibushi vs. Alexander last week was a MotY candidate. Every match of the second round has been outstanding thus far. Jack Gallagher is something special. Noam Dar utterly bores me though. He's the only downer thus far.
