www.youtube.com/watch?v=xk1nOv0s6QkWow. I mean I always sort of assumed that he naturally had that "bald on top only hair on the sides" type hairline that he just worked into the look/persona. Man he looked completely different.

I knew he had started growing it out around Wrestlemania 14 but it was more of a buzz cut at the time. Never seen it that long, he looks completely different.
And since we are on the subject of hair how about Sods hair and hat combo at the start of that video!

It's funny because for years, I thought that the reverse Mohawk was a for Hawk to have a funky hairstyle despite having a receding hairline or being pretty bald. To see that he could still grow a full head of hair blew my mind. It made him look younger than his traditional man-made bald guy horseshoe look.

I know it was "just Memphis," but it's still weird/surprising/disappointing that someone with such a unique look, who was a star the fans channel surfing would recognize, couldn't be bothered to try to look like his wrestling character.

He looks almost scarily like Shane Douglas. I'm still amazed that the horseshoe mohawk was what he went with for so long if he was still able to grow his hair out. The way he had it cut you'd never think he DIDN'T have a serious case of male pattern baldness going on.

I think there's a hint of Harley Race about him in the picture. Mind you, I've not got my glasses on...

He did it like that so he and Animal put their heads together, the hairstyles would "plug in" to each other. Animal tells the story on their DVD.

Otherwise, we would've had the memorable angle where their tag team rivals layed them out and laughed maniacally while putting their lifeless heads together as the copyright info appeared on the screen to end the show.
