Meaning that his skills in the art of pimping were lackluster, not that he pimped garbage.
I thought of this watching his hilarious Hall of Fame video but he had a really flawed business model, what kind of pimp offers his hoes up for free? Not just for a quick session either to have 'em back out on the streets, he'd give them up for the whole night! His ladies never looked like typical prostitutes either, you could tell that big homie Shango was runnin' a high end escort service. And what did he get? To not have a match. You really think those WWE checks for not doin' his job make up for the loss of income by having his girl work for free? Not even always one either, sometimes he'd let fools take off with two, three, four hoes. What are you doin'?! If you don't wanna wrestle, stick to pimpin' full time but don't cost yourself income just to stunt on TV.
Pimpin' ain't easy? No, Godfather ain't smart.

Hypothetically, does he get the 'win' if the other wrestler accepts? If so, then he could be making more money via wins and the higher prestige could lead to more Main Events, more t-shirts, more opportunities. The Godfather could have a better grasp on the market than we could ever have guessed.

Pimping just happened to be majorly competitive at the time. I mean, it's always amazing how many other PIMPS. UP. IN. THIS. HOOOOOOOOOOUUUUUUUUUUSE there were whenever he rolled into town.
You gotta do what you can to stand above the other 15,000 pimps.

He probably just rolled the dudes afterwards and took their loose change. A guy like Steve Blackman probably had at least five dollars in quarters on him at all times.

I mean, it allowed him to advertise Godfather's Pimpin' LLC to millions of people on a weekly basis. Sure, he would lose money on that one gift, but it would give him a much larger customer base. Dude knew how to market.

Godfather's IC title run came about because he exchanged some hos for a title shot, so the gifts could be strategic.

He videotaped the wrestlers and the Ho's in their hotel room and tried to blackmail them so their wives wouldn't find out. Although if their wives had been watching RAW then I guess they would see their husbands going away for the night with prostitutes so I don't know if it worked.
I'm gay.

Heres how I took it. When he offered the boys a girl or two for the whole night technically the night ends at 12 am.
He didn't go to work till at least 930 if that depending on what time he came out. So roughly between 930-1030 pm.
Give his opponent time to get his money and then guy gets the girl(s) then what?
They have to decide where to go what to do which takes up time.
When 12am hits funtime is over so theoretically they might not even get an whole hour.

I was at the Raw in Atlanta when the Godfather brought out like fifty hoes. Maybe he'll gives a hoe or two away as a charitable donation that he can write off on his taxes.

He was a nationwide pimp, as he said time and again. Do you realize what kind of business he must been doing to be able to go on global TV and TELL everybody he was selling flesh?
He could afford to spare a few freebies for an easy match.

While most pimps operate in cash, The Godfather operated in trade.
I mean really, when you think about it, he was kind of a groundbreaking pimp. He supplemented his lack of pimping cash income with his WWF contract.
The man actually belongs in the Pimp Hall of Fame as well.
