Pretty hyped for the new season, though I'm hoping Starlight's presence throughout it will be kept to a minimum. Really have zero interest in doing the Twilight's student thing and the face turn basically killed all interest I have in her as a character.

I imagine she'll probably take a Discord sort of role, where she pops up for a couple episodes a season but doesn't become a focus of the show. Suddenly ramping up the importance and plot relevance of Starlight Glimmer would only turn her into a pony version of Poochie. |

My biggest concern at this point is that I fear they may have rushed Season 6 to get it out in May.
I hope I'm wrong.
I'd rather wait longer and get a solid Season
than have it rushed out early and it be a complete mess.
I dunno maybe these episodes were finished before Season 5 was, guess we will know soon enough.

Well, we know season six has been in the works at least on recording and scripting for quite awhile already from stuff like de Lancie tweeting about recording for it ages ago and the Fluttershy's brother thing. I'd assume due to the long wait for season five and the impact that had on toy sales, they've probably changed the show's scheduling and we'll only get half of season six now and the other half later in the year. |

I'm still not keen on how quickly she was redeemed after the size and scope of her crimes in Season 5 (magic theft, brainwashing, temporal mischief) and one "Sorry" was all it took. |

She wanted to change the course of history, creating a paradox, destroying the space/time continuum because she felt dejected because she had no friends? And now everything's peachy keen because she has friends now? BULLSHIT! |
