Glimmer was much more controlling and "evil" in that aspect. She's another character that I take issue with, within the show. First she brainwashes and cutie-mark-washes an an entire village to effectively steal all their magic (escapes unrepentant), then ALTERS a Starswirl spell on her own to manipulate time itself to try and "Undo" Twilight and all of her friends at the one critical moment. After bouncing through altverse after altverse (which I pray one or two of those get revisits later) and life-or-death combat, all she has to say is "I'm sorry" and they not only forgive her but TRUST her? She was the best chance we had at a recurring villain who indeed had great magical talent and intelligence (the Starswirl time spell, standing up to Twilight in battle) I really want this to come back and bite them all on the flank. The lesson? "Trust is EARNED, not that freely given" This. ALL of this. Put me down on the side of I don't trust Starlight Glimmer....AT ALL. I know I said pretty much the same thing about Sunset Shimmer, but she has at least attempted to redeem herself. That, and she's movie only. Although considering that last little scene in EG3, who knows if they intertwine. Anyways, back on topic, Starlight. Like Nikki said, we're supposed to forgive her after she apologizes for nearly disrupting the Space/Time Continuum because she had a grudge against "our heroes" for disrupting her dictatorship over a village. I call bullshit. She'll end up causing more pain and trouble before this is all over. "Trust me....."

"Equestria Girls": The first movie in the Equestria Girls franchise was a good one for the most part. The songs were good, Twilight Sparkle was very entertaining (especially when she tried to get used to the human physiology), they made a good point here at least why the other mane cast members could not come and it was a decent introduction to Sunset Shimmer. However, story parts felt rushed in places (like they needed more time to get the effect they wanted), Sunset Shimmer was a rather ineffective villain (her two sabotage attempts failed rather quickly and her plan to take over Equestria deserves a prize for the stupidest take-over plan of all time) and Flash Sentry got no character to speak of to make us care about him and make us understand why Twilight thinks he's all that. But it was a good try for the first one. B-.
No TLML Adventure this time around...and I don't know if I should actually incorporate this into Equestria Girls since only Lyra appears here (although going by the Gallery on the MLP Wiki Lemon Hearts appears in the second movie somewhere).

Take a shot everytime Rainbow says awesome in this movie. She only said that cause she came to play, there's a price to pay, time to get down on your knees and pray...

Now come on AJ, that's how you see her every night in person, no need to get a photo of it.
