I think she's a sweet person, but she kept going on about how her brother hated everytime she is with guys. She is from a asian family, so I was aware of that. I found her to be quite a humble girl in a way but I wasn't sure what I thought when I got home. I've been away from the dating game for awhile maybe that's why it seemed awkward.

I used to have my girlfriend sleep over when I lived at home and we had sex all the time, she's really loud when we're alone but women know how to bite their tongue when they need to during sex don't worry about it. If the bed is too squeaky just throw the f***ing sheets on the floor and go nuts.

Why are you making excuses?Are you sure you actually want to try to start something with this girl dude?If you really wanted her, you would be hanging out with her as much as possible, regardless of living conditions.

For what it's worth, I was with my ex for 5 years, from the time I was 16 to 21, so I get what you mean by it being awkward the first time back out there. That being said, don't let that discourage you. You clearly like this girl, otherwise you wouldn't be asking all of us what we thought. So again, I say go for it. |

From experience...doing the dirty deed in the same house you share with a sibling can be awkward if your partner is rather loud and your sibling can hear what's going on.  just give your sibling some cash to go see a movie/get dinner or something. A good sibling wouldnt interfere with you getting laid I'm pretty private, especially with family. So, telling a sibling to get lost, because I'm having a chick over is basically saying "Hey, I'm probably getting laid" and that would be awkward for me in itself. Plus, she's a hermit and doesn't like getting out, so that wouldn't have worked. |

I think because I was so tired it was blocking out a true connnection with the first girl. The girl I went out with last night was a lot more fun she was all over me in the place and I didn't drive this time and had quite a few drinks before hand. I felt more freedom with this girl and although the first girl was nice I'm not 100% sure what I think of her. She seems someone who is desperate for a relationship and I'm not into that right now.

I don't understand the issue... You have a sibling as a roommate. You can't be in a relationship or have company over because of that? As long as you aren't living with your mom or on a couch, it shouldn't be a big deal. Even the mom situation can sometimes be overlooked, depending on how cool the mom is. Especially if the chick is early 20s. I don't really understand the issue, I guess.

Personally, I don't get the whole living with people being a problem issue. Who cares? And really, why does it even matter? Living with someone doesn't stop you from hanging out with someone. The only thing it MIGHT interfere with is having sex from time to time and I don't really see the issue with that. If you like someone you'd be happy just spending time with them and not worry about not being able to have sex because neither of you live alone.
