I do not get the reaction to the video (I am not aware of anything else if there is more just to be clear just simply going off the tweets) Like are fans not allowed to boo anymore? like this seems to be the crux of the whole issue here that the likes of Rhea and Zelina and Chelsea seem to have an issue with and seem's way the f*** overblown IMO. It's the You suck in the boos that is the issues especially as she's a face I am still not seeing the issue that deserves to have these talent coming out to attack the fans like this. They booed and one guy said she sucked....so the usual wrestling fan , I mean we on here shit on babyfaces all the time if they suck , I mean Rey is a deadbeat dad as an example lol.

Fans also paid good money to be there.
They allowed to boo if they think something isn’t good. That has always been a thing in sports.
WWE put Maxxine in a bad position by just throwing her out there in MR matches with basically no wrestling experience.

It's two fans yelling that she sucks which isn't the typical responses for a face, and we shit on Rey in an online forum and not to his face and Rey doesn't get told he sucks as a face. It's like when Velvet Sky was wrestling and Tazz literally said she's green as goose shit, there is a time and place to talk about how bad someone is progressing in the ring. We also shit on Shotzi here but I can never recall her getting told she sucks as a face

well said rhea Ripley. Imagine being that much of a lowlife that you boo someone who’s trying to get better in the ring ? Well said Rhea. f*** those fans, especially the “you suck maxine” asshole.

Yeah, for the people trying to defend the fans, hope you realize who Maxxine was wrestling. She wasn't stinking it up with someone like Rhea, Kairi, or Asuka. She was in the ring with Nia Jax. Who you are going to learn absolutely nothing from wrestling, and is probably one of the last women on the roster you want to see carrying a match.

How many fans know how green she is? I’d wager a lot of them do not. So what they see is a bad match. There have been times when say, NXT fans have been openly racist and yet those did not get this level of outrage.
Like it or not, the MR has a different standard (if she was in NXT, then the fans would be more forgiving I suspect).
Fans have been doing this since the beginning of time and NOT just in wrestling.
They’re making this FAR bigger than it needs to be by overreacting to it so much.

Screaming “don’t come back!” is kinda harsh but fans trashing on bad wrestlers has always been a thing. If she’s not ready to be out there then she shouldn’t be out there. If bad crowd reaction is that big a deal for her then she really shouldn’t be out there yet.

A friend of mine is a Saints football fan. He booed Derek Carr. Does that somehow make him a horrible person? This is just part of the job like it or not.

I again simply do not get the by far overblown reaction by the talents at all.
She got booed
And got told to go away or whatever by not even a miniscule ammount of people...what was it 2? literally your everyday since the beginning of time wrestling fan and somehow this deserves every female talent coming out the woodwork to shit on the paying customer?
Either there is something hugely missing about this or this is a case of these talents completely overblowing something way the f*** out of proportion and looking really bad in the process.

If bad crowd reaction is that big a deal for her then she really shouldn’t be out there yet. The point of house shows is to work on skills and characters and she waived it off. I was at the Collision shown in August and fans were chanting we want Mami at Buddy Murphy and he did look annoyed but did the veteran thing of not acknowledging it, fans do suck sometimes with the chants

I can appreciate the wrestlers supporting a coworker in public but the whole thing seems kind of silly. It was a few fans at one house show. A few fans booing someone at a show is different than sending like nasty tweets or harassing them via DMs. Not everything needs to turn into a support campaign or social media movement.

It’s silly. Shit like this happens all the time. Blame the company that isn’t putting her in a position to succeed.

WWE put Maxxine in a bad position by just throwing her out there in MR matches with basically no wrestling experience. Yeah if she isn't good enough for main roster house shows then she should be doing the nxt loops where it's more expected that they're green and fans usually react accordingly. She might even learn how to shout back at hecklers, which helps earn more respect from the crowd. Something even the lowliest indy wrestlers can do. Yeah crappy situation for her but it's also bad for fans that paid good money for a substandard product, it's not a charity, that's on wwe. It's different if it's properly abusive, sexual, racist etc but that video is pretty tame to the point I don't get why other wrestlers feel the need to get involved. They must have heard far worse.

We see some shit that's said online, we can hear the heckling, but we also don't see the stuff that's sent to them privately. They deal with metric tons of crap, and this was probably the thing that broke the siege of wrestlers having to bite their tongues.

I looked up the card out of curiosity and poor Maxxine not only had to face Nia but had to follow an Omos match.
No wonder the crowd weren't happy.

They didn't book a barely-trained wrestler against Nia Jax. Whoever booked this house show did. We literally saw this exact problem play out with Eva Marie. If WWE can't learn from their mistakes, then they can deal with the fallout of said mistakes.

Fans will always heckle faces and honestly iv only seeing Maxine a few times on tv she comes way across more heelish then a face even with alpha academy and whenever she does appear to wrestle she's barely over so I'm not sure fans have taken to her but there's no reason to be cruel or unkind so the fans should have been less mean and just boo or silence rather then the comments.

I don't get why WWE doesn't build a performance center of some sort where talent can train so they don't have to have their first few dozen matches in front of fans like that.

Maybe the fans will respond with malicious compliance and simply not react to anything if they don't like it. No cheering, no booing, just silence.
