I understand WWE just wanting to go with the flow in terms of the crowd's reaction to New Day, but it really annoys me that it's been close to a year since we've had an actual turn, and that said turn was friggin' Sheamus of all people. Where's Big Show when you need him?

They're faces in the sense that people like their antics more than the Lads. If Don Rickles called the wrong person a hockey puck and got punched out, not many would say he had it coming.
That said, face New Day worries me. It reminds me of how lame Doink got when his antics were turned on heels instead of faces.

And yet we all hate when a babyface turn means a guy losing his edge.
Can't it just be the case that they're face by virtue of feuding with bigger assholes.
This used to be done well, can't we get back to it?
When The Rock was face, he was just being the same c*** to different people. Same with Austin, arguably if his character changed at all when he went face, no one would have given a shit about him.
Eddie's another example.
Now obviously there's levels and nuance to each of my examples, but the point stands:
Are New Day constantly cheered? Then they're faces.
Does that mean their act should be reworked? Isn't that what we always give out about; WWE seeing that something is catching on, trying to capitalize on it and completely f***ing up why it was liked in the first place.
I say let's not rock the boat on this one.

Actually, Paige had a real heel turn when she cut her ties to PCB.

Actually, Paige had a real heel turn when she cut her ties to PCB. You mean the worked shoot promo? Paige turned heel with that, except she still teamed with Becky and Charlotte and they all acted like nothing was wrong, then Paige beat them down to turn heel despite already being established as a heel, or something. Until recently it was really, really difficult to keep up with Diva alignments so I may have some of that wrong.

Right, but he wasn't slapping hands and telling corny jokes, nuance.
