Batman's gonna make Joker cry, and it's going to be hilarious. After so many stories where Joker messes with Batman, it'll be refreshing to see the shoe on the other (hilarious) foot.

heh the Dark Knight Returns super mutant is in the back left and behind him is Black Canary!
I'm pretty meh on Billy Dee as Two Face personally... not really against it but I was never clamoring for it even in the original Burton films.

I saw the poster and Two-Face before I saw the story of who's voicing him. ........oh I'm so happy now. Also, a clip from the most recent trailer shows King Tut and Kite-Man. KITE-MAN. IN A BATMAN MOVIE.
HELL YEAH.

I was sold the first time I saw a trailer and it dropped a Glengarry Glen Ross reference out of nowhere.

Is this tied to the DCCU? Nah. This will be far better written.

Delayed release in Australia by nearly 50 days despite the Lego Movie having a similar delay which led to about a 5 million loss in revenue due to piracy.

in this universe it does seem that Babs is closer in age to Bruce than Dick.... so I'm not entirely angry with this... but it is still pretty stupid.

Saw this yesterday morning and it was indeed hilarious. I'll put a few bits in spoilers but even then I won't say much. Story was very well written, just fun silliness. Funny moments such as {Spoiler}{Spoiler}Batman's Batcave password being "Iron Man Sucks!" and {Spoiler}{Spoiler}Batman: "Alfred, what's the password for the 'puter?"
Alfred: "Alfred the Butler - with two T's..."
Batman: "HAHA!" The showing I saw was at 10am, barely anyone in the theatre that early but that's how I like it honestly. {Spoiler}Joker: "Do you realise after 78 years you have never said 'I hate you' to me??"
Batman: "I'm a little annoyed by you right now"

A wider cast list has been revealed..... Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill are back as Superman and Green Lantern. Conan O'Brien is the Riddler. Kate Minucci is Clayface. Doug Benson is Bane. Adam Levine is the Flash. ew.com/movies/2017/02/04/lego-batman-movie-conan-obrien-seth-green-full-cast-list/And apparently there are parts for non-comic folks, including {Spoiler}Seth Green as King Kong & (even though Fiennes is in the same movie...) Eddie Izzard as Voldemort.

I kind of half want to see this but... I dunno. I never did see the Lego Movie, meant to but never got the chance, but the trailers for this kind of look less like they're parodying Batman and more just a random mile a minute comedy that just has Batman in it for no apparent reason. I think I like the idea of it more than what I'm seeing of the execution.

And the Lego Movie......is a lot of fun, and I really do like the idea of it and am glad they expanded to Batman. But after the 1 time I saw it I felt it was enough. I suspect I'll see Lego Batman once (and on Netflix), enjoy it, and then be content with it.

Just saw it. {Spoiler}I love that Bruce treats romance movies like they're comedies, I wish there had been more emphasis on the Superfriends, they just vanish after Bruce and Dick makes off with the Phantom Zone projector. I know there's something about vigilantes being off-limits in Gotham, but was that an in-story excuse to keep them out of Batman's buisness or something?
Also glad Bruce and Babs did'nt become an item, they reined themselves in and made the romance one-sided, and Bruce resigns himself to the fact it's just platonic. Babs is actually pretty close to Dick in the movie, they're even holding hands at around the scene they're sent away by Bruce...which would be fine for a Dick/Babs fan were it not for the age gap.
Brief snippets of a Rickroll and WHAM (hey, it worked for Deadpool), too bad "Died In Your Arms Tonight" was a part of the trailers. No sign of "Built this City on Rock and Roll" alas, which would have worked perfectly for when they glued the city together at the end.
Joker got the most attention, which annoyed me...I thought they'd have more range with the Bat-Villains, especially when they made such a big deal out of Billy Dee Williams voicing Two-Face again...he barely fricking speaks! One line or two, that's it. Not a bad afternoon spent, but there's a lot of missed oppertunities also. I think they blew all the best jokes in the trailers.
