If I'm being honest if I were putting this movie together I would kill Nick Fury as soon as I possibly could. Nothing against the character, not at all, but I both feel like he's served his purpose and his death would be an excellent, "Oh, SHIT!" moment to immediately establish Thanos with a bang. Hulk would be a better kill for that reason I'd think. I'm sure they want him around for future movies but if Thanos comes down and mercs the most powerful Avenger, that'd hit harder than killing a human.

Considering Marvel/Disney still doesn't have the rights to a Hulk solo film from Universal you might be on to something too.

I'd hate to see the big lug go but that would be an excellent way to immediately gut punch the audience and establish Thanos is a big deal right off the bat.

Based on the Vanity Fair article I got the vibe that all the characters introduced in Phase One will be going away, at least for a while. James Gunn has confirmed he is writing and directing Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, so I expect all of the Guardians to make it through relatively unharmed. Hawkeye is sticking it out. The Russos really like Jeremy Renner and they know he got shafted by Whedon. With the others out of the way he may get an opportunity to shine. The man is an incredible actor. He deserves material to work with. Maybe he becomes a mentor to the next generation of heroes.

If it happens it probably won't be until Avengers 4. According to Feige and Ruffalo, Hulk's on a three-part story arc running from Ragnarok through till Avengers 4. My guess is there won't be any major deaths in Infinity War. A few B-players and maybe Fury. I think Avengers 4 will end with a Pyrrhic victory, with Cap and Tony dying, and the theme of the next phase will be rebuilding.

I've said this before, but I hope after Infinity War and Avengers 4 wrap, they decide to go for smaller threats in their films, I'm thinking along the lines of Gray Gargoyle, Wizard, Mysterio, Arcade, etc. Villains who could carry a film, but not "if they're not defeated the Earth blows up" type villains.

Man I am so hyped! Just whatever you do - don’t kill Rocket!! Honestly the only one I'm really actively rooting for the survival of is Drax, mostly because he's easily the one I could see being most likely to die. I don’t know too much about Drax’s comic origins but I recently heard he was solely created to kill Thanos. With the movie story being that Thanos was behind Drax’s family being killed, I’d like Drax to get the death blow as closure for himself, but I think we all know it’s gonna be Cap.

I'm hyped. I am so f***ing hyped and I cannot wait for this film. So many thoughts and questions: 2: How the hell does Hulk go from space to New York to Wakanda? The Tesseract can take him there, which Loki has. same way Loki got from Asgard to Earth in Avengers 1.

I can't say I'm overly hyped, but this is still going to be a pretty fascinating bit of cinema that I'll want to see; as many of you are saying, the same way the first Avengers laid the groundwork for how these "team up" movies could work and still tell a coherent story people give want to care about, this will take that to another level and likely show the framing of how such a big crossover can actually be effective; something on this scale hasn't really been attempted before.
I'm just not overly hyped because as decent-to-very good as the Marvel films are, I've never developed much of an emotional attachment to them. But again, this can be pretty groundbreaking in terms of the scope it's reaching for, so it'll be spectacle enough to warrant going to see.

If the rumors are true regarding the Marvel/Disney and Fox, then I am hoping we get Dr. Doom as the next big bad. Of course I'd be cool with a proper Mandarin or a resurrected Red Skull.

Am I the only one who thought Bruce might have been the one IN Veronica? Because in the part where he's looking at Natasha I feel like he just climbed out of it since its right behind him on its side.

Doom would be the perfect long-term bad guy to succeed Thanos in this canon. But shoot, if they picked up Fox, they'd get all of X-Men and the Fantastic Four, which means the Shi'ar and the Skrulls and Galactus and and and... brb wiping drool off keyboard
