John Cena could be out for several more months, until July?

- It looks like John Cena could miss in-ring action at WWE's WrestleMania 32, Payback, Extreme Rules and Money In the Bank.

The latest internal ETA on Cena's return to actual wrestling is July, according to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter. Everyone knows how Cena often returns ahead of schedule and that is always a possibility here. If Cena were out until late July, he could return at the Battleground pay-per-view on July 24th.

Cena just hit the 350-hour mark in his rehab for the shoulder surgery and many people expect him to make some sort of non wrestling appearance at WrestleMania next month

If he's not going to be on Mania, it's better he takes extra time to get himself as close to 100% as his body can get.

We could be looking at a situation where, counting his two month absence at the end of last year, Cena will have worked only ONE TV match in nine months. He's never been gone that long.

Since John isn't making it to Mania I don't see why not. Dude has been going at a hellish pace and it be in his best interest to get the body as close to 100% as possible if he wants to continue wrestling past a few more years. John is starting to do more things outside of WWE as well so we are def starting to see a transition period.

Unless he bolts to Hollywood which I would argue would be a good thing since it gives wrestling more exposure again. But yeah he needs to take a long ass break. Maybe he will finally get 100% universally cheered again when he feuds with Roman Reigns.

Dude looks pretty good since he's been off the road. At the Mania press conference he looked like 5 years younger.

Cena's more than earned the right to heal at a normal pace for once. Like some have said, it just makes his return all the more epic.

He's not always been my cup of tea, but there's no denying that the dude has busted his ass for the WWE more than just about any performer you can think of, he's accomplished more than just about anyone in wrestling ever will, he's got "F You" money and then some that will last him the rest of his life if he manages it even half-way correctly, and given all the tragic tales we're seeing with life-altering injuries to wrestlers and sports stars in general, it's just not worth it to continue taking years off your life once you've reached a certain point of wealth and acclaim. As the wise veterans like to say, work smarter, not harder.
