Eh, doesn't sound like the most exciting sypnosis.
But then again, some of my favourite episodes didn't sound that great to begin with either, and I ended up really liking them.

"Equestria Girls: Rainbow Rocks": The second movie fares better than the first in several ways. First, the character arc of Sunset Shimmer was done wonderfully, hitting on all the points (still being antagonized by the school, self-doubt, ultimately knowing what to do and being the hero in the end) and being successful in making Sunset a really lovable character. Second, the Dazzlings were better villains than Sunset was in the first one by being a constant menacing presence and having an interesting m.o., not to mention a good difference in character between the three. Third, just a couple of little things that all add up: the pacing of the movie was better than the first, the Humane 5 got enough presence and their conflict evolved in a logical manner, the songs were good etc.. However, the weak point in the movie is Twilight's presence. It really feels like you could have her written out entirely and there would not only be a difference, but it would have strengthened Sunset Shimmer's character arc. Not to mention the flimsy excuse this time for the pony 5 to not accompany Twilight was way weaker than the reason in the first one. Funny how the forum's biggest Twilight fan considers her the weakest part of something. B+.  The TLML Adventures SpecialWhile Twinkleshine and Minuette decided to spend a sunny day in their homes at Canterlot, Lemon Hearts went to visit Lyra to help her and Bon Bon create some new sweets for Bon Bon's candy stand at the next town festival...  All in all, it was a quiet weekend with no disturbances. |

Apparently, in the latest addition of "Atop The Fourth Wall", Linkara hinted that he will do some MLP comics later this year.
Positive: I like Linkara and AT4W, so this should be good.
Negative: It is uncertain whether he will do IDW comics or G1 comics.
