"Bloom & Gloom": IMHO the weakest of the Dreamwalker Trilogy. While there were some interesting visuals (the Twittermites, the nightmare forest with Apple Bloom's shadow, the running gag with the rooster), the story felt pretty...pedestrian. While it brought forward some nice lessons, I think they should have kept the suspense going whether this was a dream or not for a while longer in one setting, instead of doing it in three different dreams because the surprise factor soon wore off. All in all, a nice Princess Luna appearance brings this otherwise average outing a plus. C+. Of course, it was a gloom...with no TLML Adventure.  |
