Bruce Lee's Game Of Death, would have loved to have seen his vision in full.

As a horror fan, I have a lot I can draw on. The uncut version of Friday the 13th Part 7, for one, or the majority of Part 8 actually taking place in New York City proper. The treatment of A Nightmare On Elm Street Part 6 written by Peter Jackson. Or, speaking of both franchises, the original iteration of Freddy vs. Jason that would've been made around 1988 if New Line and Paramount could come to an agreement. I could probably rattle off a dozen or so more, but you get the idea. Never heard about the Jackson Nightmare 6....tell me more please?

I heard that George Miller at some point wanted to make Fury Road black & white and without any dialogue. And while I think "arthouse Mad Max" would have been terrible, I would love to see an edit of the film done that way just to see how it works.
The Resident Evil adaptation George Romero wanted to make. It still baffles me that the studios refused a zombie film script from the grandaddy of zombie films and then decided Anderson's bland shit was worth greenlighting. On top of that Romero seemed genuinely enthusiastic about it, he wrote a full script which included such crazy ideas such as having the characters from the game actually be there and focused on and actually following the story and atmosphere of the game, and he actually had experience with the franchise since he directed several Japanese advertisements for the games.
And yeah, I know he made some changes some people find weird but you can't tell me Anderson's shitty fanfic is an improvement on it in any way.

Max Fleischer was suppose to direct the Batman serials in the 1940s. His vision would have been incredible.

I don't think anyone other than Jackson or execs at New Line saw his treatment so nobody knows any details other than it was apparently called Nightmare On Elm Street 6: Dream Lover.

Here's info I found online which match up with what they say about the plot in the Never Sleep Again documentary

Man of La Mancha starring Johnny Depp and directed by Terry Gilliam. It would have been a great movie if the production hadn't imploded. IT'S BACK ON ..... "In November 2014, it was reported that the film was in full pre-production once again, with John Hurt as Quixote and Jack O'Connell as Grisoni. Filming was set to begin in 2016, however it was announced in September 2015 that the film had been suspended again, due to Hurt being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer shortly before filming." ..... OR NOT ![::)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/eyesroll.png) IT'S BACK ON ..... "On 31 March 2016, The Hollywood Reporter confirmed that the picture had received financing once again with Paulo Branco as producer and filming scheduled for September. Hurt will remain cast as his cancer has since dissipated." ![8D](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/insane.png)

The version of Alien where the Alien kills Ripley and speaks in her voice. Just to see how bad the puppet would look because let's be honest here Alien is awesome and the effects of masking the guy in a suit are top notch....until the creature is blown off the escape craft and then it's pretty easy to tell it's a guy in a suit.

the original plan for Godfather III I somehow hadn't heard about this and just looked it up. That really could have been interesting.

The many Sequel ideas for "The Rocky Horror Picture Show"
I like "Shock Treatment" but it's a mess (Even those involved with it think so)

Also, Guillermo del Toro's The Hobbit. I also know that Joss Whedon was very unhappy with the amount of executive meddling on Age of Ultron, wonder sometimes if his original vision would have been better or just accentuated the "Age of Wisecracks" vibe. Probably would've stood up better as it's own movie, rather then feeling like a 2.5 hour long set up for MCU Phase 3. Don't get me wrong, I still enjoyed alot of that movie, but I remember watching it in theatre and it felt like 75% of what happened in this movie was building up to have the payoff in a different movie. I have a feeling that would have been considerably toned down if Whedon had more autonomy.

I always wanted to see that Fantastic Four movie set in the 1960's that was rumored before the Tim Story film came out.

I just recently bought a copy of John Boorman's LOTR script from the 70s and holy s*** I wish this car crash happened. Frodo sleeping with Galadriel, a kabuki theatre style telling of Middle Earth's history in Rivendell, Gimli having ancient dwarf knowledge literally beaten out of him, Aragorn kissing Boromir (after a 13 year Arwen kisses both), magic word battle between Gandalf/Saruman, and Aragorn erotically healing Eowyn on the battlefield.
The whole thing veers from respectful treatment of Tolkien's work to Middle Earth version of Zardoz so quickly I get whiplash reading it.

Star Wars with Obi-Wan Kenobi played by Toshiro Mifune.
The cinema nerd in me orgasms at the thought.

There was a Narnia script where Edmund is tempted with cheeseburgers.
