Even with HHH Reigns will be at top Roman got Vince, HHH, Paul E on his side I don't think anyone can deny there is a lot of upside to Reigns, it's just that his presentation has been so ham-fisted and off-putting to many that he's now gotta try and win over a fanbase as the damn World Champion, one that he should have already had for years before he even won it.

Thats why many people said he should have got the Rusev feud last year instead of Cena

Either or works because even if we go by when they strapped the rocket to Cena's back he's still lost more times than Reigns. I think the "rocket to his back" 3 year period would be better to go with even if he lost more than reigns that would prob be the more "fair" comparison. If we go this route it's just a matter of finding out when the rocket was strapped to Reigns. With Cena he got the rocket strapped to him when he was drafted to Raw in 05. Reigns is a different story. Roman's super-push began years before he won the belt back when he eliminated 4 in that Survivor Series match and was the sole survivor, it only increased when he got the most eliminations at the Rumble and so on and so forth. Meltzer even said the whole reason Shield was created was to get Reigns over but the Shield's overness surpassed their predictions so they pulled the trigger early. So really you could say that the push began when Shield debuted or when he made that Survivor Series win or when he got the most Rumble eliminations or when he was the only Shield guy to beat Punk, I mean it's just been steady for dude. I do know Cena lost the HBK and Khali matches in a little under 2 years since he won the belt but that's about it. Reigns hasn't had a legit loss yet so we'll see whenever that'll be.

I would start with SS. It amazing how right they got the Shield and failed with other groups. They became a good draw because they never lost none of this 50-50 junk
You know what I think we need a thread on the Shield and how they became stars

I agree, his super push began with that Survivor Series elimination thing.
Also yeah someone needs to make a Shield thread about them because honestly all 3 are stars. Even Ambrose, the guy people say is buried is making over 1mil a year and headlining overseas against Triple H of all people.

Was he the one that ate the pin against the Brotherhood at Battleground for the tag belts? No, Seth ate the fall, plus it wasn't for the belts, it was to get Cody & Goldust their jobs back. The title win was on Raw 8 days later, Roman did take the fall there(though only after a KO Punch from Big Show).
