Now I just feel bad for him. Few things are more embarrassing than tripping on something and falling in a public place. Makes you feel like the biggest idiot on Earth.

Not sure why anyone feels sorry for him. He clearly thinks he's having a whale of a time. A sad old man who refuses to grow up. The WWE needs to stop enabling him. He's an embarrassment even when he's composed and collected, out there with Charlotte. Yep, I can't help but agree. I feel remorse only for people associated with him in that they dont come off well with this decrepit sad sack of an excuse for a legend. He has to want to get help to get it and he clearly doesn't want it. The WWE need to put an ultimatum on him. I agree. They need to tell him it's "left, right, left, right" or don't bother coming to work anymore.

I know Flair brings most of his problems on himself, but I feel for the guy. Walking in to his son's hotel room and finding him dead, he'll never get over that. He probably sees that image in his head every time he closes his eyes. It's no wonder he drinks himself silly. I feel bad for the guy but he's been a mess long before what happened to his son and because of this he'll realistically never get the benefit of the doubt from adults that don't hero worship him.Flair needs to go away. I totally get where you're coming from. It's very true that Flair's been a mess for a long time. Unfortunately, I figure his son's death washed away any chance of him straightening his life out. It's just a sad situation all around.

Chuckling at the Shockmaster during that Flair for the Gold segment finally caught up with him.
Karma gets you eventually, man.

Good friend of mine was there when it happened. He's also a big wrestling. Nobody thought Flair was drunk, certainly not too drunk to fly. He tripped over a diddle bag and cut his hand/wrist open, was treated and sent on his flight. people just like saying Flair is drunk all the time. As someone who has spent time around massively inebriated people when hanging out with my friend who was a bouncer and my cousin who is a bartender... I think 9/10 when people point that Flair is drunk on TV he's absolutely not. He always slurs his words but it looks more like he has false teeth that don't fit right to me. That said does he drink? well yeah, that isn't really disputed I just don't think it's anywhere near the level people act like it is. I am also not saying he doesn't have a drinking problem. But I've never been in the same room as him outside of a wrestling related show so I can't really judge. I've mentioned the false teeth thing before as well. He sounds like Lou Holtz on ESPN(okay not THAT bad), but not hammered.

Meanwhile, Susan Boyle (that singer lady) was involved in a similar disturbance over the pond at Heathrow Airport today as well.
I think Flair somehow tripped reality, crossed over the sea, was trying to fondle her and got his hand slashed while she was left distressed.
............this means something.

Flair is just being flair. The guy has never grown up and chances are never will. Hes always had a weird lisp to his voice or type of slur when he speaks which is why hes always sounded weird. That said, Nothing against Flair. Hes had a helluva fun life. Its just too bad he never got any guidance on growing up. His maturity level just never increased with his age. Its ok to be a little bit of a loose canon in your 20s and 30s but you should have reached some kind of maturity level by you 60 something for god sakes Im sure he was drunk or buzzed. I mean the guy was in an airport bar. What was he doing? Drinking soda? ROLFMAO. Guys that drink alot like Flair they can hide when they are actually drunk and just act a little buzzed. It doesn't help with the Mcmahons constantly bringing him back and enabling his addictions (Women, Travel, Airport Bars etc and big paydays). You don't give alcoholics a ton of money to feed their addictions.. Thats just common sense. You put Flair on the road with women, bars, and give him a big payday, what do you expect is gonna happen? its flair for god sakes ![B-|](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/notamused.png)

Guys, he wasn't intoxicated so let's not bash the guy for getting drunk when he wasn't.
There are lots of reasons someone acts off his element other than he is drunk or on something.
If I was WWE, I would send Flair to a doctor immediately to find out what happened.

I will also pile on and say that he's a reckless drunk who needs to get his act together even though all we know is he fell. Feels like the right thing to do.

As much as I would love to see Ric when RAW comes to Greensboro, N.C. in two weeks, WWE might want to take him off the road for a few weeks.

Thanks to the Lapsed Fan, I'm know visualizing Flair blading after falling over and rubbing it all over his hair.

This thread is one of the great over reactions I have seen on here. As long as Flair is alive, I want him on my TV involved with wrestling.

What actually happened: Flair tripped and fell at the airport. Security made sure he was okay. He took a later flight.
What's being reported: Waaaaarrrrblgaaaarrrbl!

The damn title of the thread says Flair wasn't drunk and yet you've still got folks coming in talking about what a drunken pathetic sack of crap he is.
People are really that desperate to judge.

When the cops approached him did he drop to his knees and start begging? Wrestletaint.gov reported that he was Irish whipped onto the boarding desk. He flipped over and landed at the top of the desk and started running on it, then one of the officers caught him at the table's end and press slammed him onto the floor.

One of the officers grabbed him from behind, but reports state he slipped behind the officer and back suplexed her on the front desk. He then screamed something about "going to school" and tried to tangle up the officer's legs, but she turned her body over to reverse the hold and then he was finally restrained by the others.
