I wonder how those did in the ratings cause I remember raw would end and the next thing you saw was Boobs Glorious Boobs. As a kid, I was always highly intrigued by the opening bits of Silk Stalkings. Then the theme music would hit, and for some reason those moody "wolf howl" parts terrified me to my very soul. The Scared Boner. Always an interesting experience. My Grandpa Bonezone always told me at a young age "If ya ain't terrified when ya gots a boner ya be doin it wrong".I always loved that quote so I had it put on my tombstone.

I loved his call when HHH revealed himself as the guy behind Austin getting ran over: "SOMEONE TELL ME WHY, DAMMIT!" JR getting pissed after HHH attacked HBK with sledgie at SummerSlam has to be my favorite moment of his. "Do you have no soul, YOU SON OF A BITCH?!" I loved his commentary when Austin turned heel. "STONE COLD STEVE AUSTIN HAS SOLD HIS SOUL TO SATAN HIMSELF! WHY, STEVE? WHY THIS WAY?!"

I used to love when they would cut to a shot of the commentary team while JR was ranting and basically calling heels "no good sons of bitches." He was invested in what was going on. He as more sports announcer than Waldorf and Statler without being funny

JR sounded like he cared (most of the time) which makes a huge difference to generally emotionless calling by Cole.

I also liked his call when HHH retained at Wrestlemania 2000: "TRIPLE H IS STILL THE CHAMPION! WHY?!"

I also liked his call when HHH retained at Wrestlemania 2000: "TRIPLE H IS STILL THE CHAMPION! WHY?!" JR foreshadowing the feeling of most fans over the next five years.
