Awww crap, I just realised this probably means that she won't feature on Breaking Ground anymore. She came across so well on that. She could still appear if it was already filmed weeks ago. She or Crews could be called up in the finale, like Breeze was in season 1

Dana Brooke got to the main roster before Bayley or Alexa. Two people, arguably, more TV ready than Dana is.
Not surprised. I just feel Dana could have used more seasoning before being called up.

Seems strange to me. Right now we have Charlotte in a never-ending feud with Natalya and a significantly less featured feud between Emma and Becky. Meanwhile, Sasha, Paige, and Eva are all completey out of the picture. The assumption is that Sasha chases for the belt this summer. So what happens to all these women sitting on the sidelines? Plus factor in Naomi, Tamina, and Nikki Bella when/if they return from their injuries. Adding Dana to the mix seems like they're just pointlessly adding another body to a division that is designed for only one prominent storyline at a time. It's not just about Raw. You need some non-featured talent for one-off matches on Superstars and Main Event and house shows, etc. You need some numbers to mix up the matchups. Agreed, but what I'm trying to say is the women typically get one match/segment per show. It's very rare for a PPV to have more than one women's match. So this summer while Charlotte and Sasha are feuding, Dana Brooke will now be doing no more than trading wins and loses in one-off matches on RAW, Superstars, Main Event, and Smackdown along with Becky, Paige, Natalya, Emma, Alicia Fox, and the bunch. Then maybe in the fall someone else will get a turn to be in the one women's storyline and the rotation will continue. It's hard to call a division with a dozen women overcrowded, but with the way the WWE books females, it's definitely overcrowded and Dana's call-up wasn't really necessary. She'll be lost in the shuffle within months.

Dana fit the slot they needed with Tamina and Naomi both out of action. Emma and Dana essentially replace Team BAD. Also, Dana will almost surely replace Lana on the live events when they were doing Emma/Lana vs. Becky/Sasha. If you're a baseball team who suddenly needs to call up a third baseman, you call up a third baseman, regardless if there is a pitcher on your minor league team who is an even bigger overall prospect.

This. A lot of the time call ups to the main roster have to do with the needs that need to be filled on the main roster, even if there's other people that still in developmental that may be better or talented. For some reason people have a tough time grasping this.

Hopefully they keep her with Emma. No offense to Dana but she still needs a worker to hide her flaws.

She's hot. I'm not familiar enough with her otherwise to comment on much else. I'll have to look up some of her and Emma's NXT stuff. Anything to help make Emma more interesting works for me, I think her current character is super lame. Dana's character work is really good. Look at her and Emma's feud with Asuka, both were fantastic at selling that they were afraid of Asuka, Dana in particular. She'd fight Asuka, but always did a good job of selling that she was afraid of Asuka, even when she just accompanied Emma for a match against Asuka. At 2:22 she just sells that she realizes she and Emma f***ed up big time, perfectly. When Asuka smiles, you are already dead.
