Im in a mood for hardcore/cage/grave yard etc. I missed most of the ppvs. Specifically 90s stuff. Did they do the cage of death from ready to rumble?

Yes, they used the Ready to Rumble cage at Slamboree 2000.
The PPV series "Uncensored" was filled with gimmick matches.
The Network also has a collection of all the WarGames cage matches.

Wrestlewar 91 and 92 both have awesome Wargames matches. And yeah the collection is uploaded if you just want to watch them. If you want hardcore there's where you should start.

The Lethal Lottery and BattleBowl gets a bad rap since it was done at StarrCade instead of a different PPV, but it was a cool idea.

Halloween Havoc 1989: Ric Flair and Sting vs. Terry Funk and The Great Muta in the Thundercage. The set design isn't great - nothing says "spooky" like bargain bin decorations and malfunctioning special effects - but the match is awesome. It's essentially a tag team Hell in a Cell, with the added addition of a rope swing and special guest ref Bruno Sammartino. (The rope really adds to the match. Bruno... He stops enforcing the rules about five minutes in, choosing instead to stay out of their way. It's the best thing he could do.)

Fall Brawl 1996 has the WCW vs. nWo War Games which was really good.
1997 also has a pretty entertaining Horsemen vs. nWo War Games, until the finish.
AVOID 1998 FALL BRAWL AT ALL COSTS.

The Coal Miners glove match between Jake and Sting isn't that bad I watched this recently. I could be wrong, but they didn't even use the glove during the match, did they?

Both Jake and Sting attempted to climb the pole during the match, but the glove didn't come into play until the end. Sting retrieved it while Jake was bringing a snake into the ring. Sting just kinda lightly hit Jake with the glove, and then pinned him as Jim Ross and Jesse Ventura freaked out over how the snake had bitten Jake in the face and latched onto his cheek.

"Spring Stampede 97" "GAB 97" "Halloween Havoc 97"
Also a No DQ tag match with DDP & Luger vs Savage & Scott Hall @ "Fall Brawl 97"

Wasn't that the year the wheel wasn't rigged? When it landed on "Coal Miner's glove" people were like "Uhhhhh OK"

Wasn't that the year the wheel wasn't rigged? When it landed on "Coal Miner's glove" people were like "Uhhhhh OK" Was rigged Was heat on them to tone the violence down I remember Jake cut a promo about what he would choose if the wheel landed on "spinner's choice". And he's talking about how he could choose a cage match and keep on slamming Sting's head into the cage wall, or a barbed wire match and shred Sting's face on the wire, or an I Quit match so he can have the satisfaction of making Sting quit the match and WCW in general. Then it landed on a coal miner's glove match. I could imagine if the wheel wasn't rigged how much crap they would have to haul to the show to accommodate all of those gimmick matches.
